I am feeling just wonderful, how are you? I've passed my civics test required for graduation and i have recently been reading some amazing books. You may have heard of them: George Orwell's 1984, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Great Gatsby, Anthem, etc...
All of them that I've read countless times both translated to Hungarian and original in English. I'm doing amazing, really. I'm enjoying life, school has been a breeze so far, getting ready for my university/college entry exam and just fiddling with my Toyota since NS was down, I've also taken some self-realization and self-actualization to discover, I'm pretty much bisexual. I've told my dad about it, he said he was proud because the old days were much worse for LGBTQ+ people under communist times, so he was proud.

I hope everyone enjoyed their break from NationStates (we have a poll up about that, btw!). Over the course of the break I decided to get strict about working out daily and training to keep my coding skills current, with the hopes of either getting a fully remote job or starting a game development side-hustle. But although NS was down, we were still chatting away on the Discord like we always do, so some part of Wintreath was still going. :D
We happened to have some new nations join right before NS went down! Welcome to Dutch East Indians Company, New Endis, and Hispaberian! Just wanted to butt in and say welcome to the LGBTQ+ club. :P I'm glad that your dad had such a positive reaction to it...bringing something like that up to family is a scary thing for a lot of people, and unfortunately a lot of people don't get the support that you do. In most places things are getting better, but there's plenty of work that still needs to be done there.
And I'm glad things are going so great for you in general. It's very rare that I hear someone say they're doing amazing. :P
I don't wish for the convo to get dark as a fellow, new member of the LGBTQ+ club but despite how Goulash Communism (Hungarian style communism) was about the people, it wasn't utopia. Especially if you were Részek (Partian), Roma or a person in the LGBTQ+ community.
Due to that stigma, some places still have issues with LGBTQ+ people because being part of the community meant "külföldi ügynök" or "foreign agency" and that meant... not very good things, like being sent to prison or hard labor in specific parts of the country such as Pécs, my own city. Thankfully however as the wounds of the past heal and we move from the Soviet and communist regime days, we'll beat these formerly valid, now values of oppression beliefs.
Since you've seen the pics: I'm the guy in the white hat. Our first show of the year was last Friday. Everything went great. I love playing to an appreciative audience.
Funny story: I was about to go back on NationStates and deal with some issues when the shutdown happened. And then I was like: "Wait, they use this image every time the game has to shutdown?"
