All of the western currencies are failing, it's because 2022 is a repeat of 2008. We are in the 13-year cycle for economic downturn right now, so as expected stuff starts to get crazy. China is not close to overtaking the US. Many problems the US has is exacerbated in China. Once China's economy is fully industrialized in 20 years' time, it will be just like the US with the manpower advantage. The US in that same time will be like Japan today. Japan in 20 years will be like Scandinavia. So, Yes the US and UK are safe, at least politically and militarily.
