Selstviean PM Williams has called a snap election today. Selstville will head to the polls on 3 July.

The Conservatives have indicated that they will continue their coalition pact with the Liberals. However, the United Party has discontinued their coalition pact, stating that they feel they’re better off on their own.

Leader of the Opposition Forsch have criticised the government for calling a snap election with little notice, accusing them of ‘wiping out the opposition’.

PM Williams hope that this election will give his government an increased majority. However, that plan may backfire.

Selstville is going into the election with its lower ever employment rate at just over 47%.

TV Reporter Milena Brajovic(Belgrade):"Good day to you, Petar. As you can see, behind me is a large queue at polling station number 55 in Belgrade. So far, 72% of citizens have turned out in Belgrade. Citizens have been at polling stations since the morning. So many for now."

Greetings from Zagreb. So far, 57.9% of citizens in Zagreb have voted. The highest number of voters was at polling station number 22 in the elementary school "Ivan Ribar". As many as 82.2% of those registered at that polling station voted there."

Good day from warm Sarajevo. In Sarajevo, 68.1% of citizens voted. Citizens' protests against Yugoslavia's entry into TAN were also recorded."

Good day. So far, 51.2% of citizens have voted in Podgorica. The turnout is low due to too much heat. The temperature in the city is 38 degrees Celsius."

I’m sad to have to announce this, but after a review of the memes and politics channels on our Discord, and keeping each individual’s history with moderation in mind, Cark (South cark islands) and Endrovy (Endrovia) have been banned from the server and by extension the region (including any and all puppets), the final straw being multiple violations of R5 (Hate Speech, even intended as satire). Administration is not currently offering either individual an appeal.

The Terran Supreme leader accepts this invitation, as it will allow Terra to meet and talk with the heads of the nation in detail, there were multiple announcements about Baltic nrc that were left off in the conference due to its tragic end, one of these announcements being helping Baltic nrc in rebuilding their nation, Terra has allocated a fund that will mostly help in educational and infrastructural rebuilding of that nation, at the new capital, Terran leader will also propose construction of the "Terran Astronomical Institute of Baltic NRC" university, and the "Terran linguistic University of Baltic NRC" university, also, Terran government will also propose a scholarship program for students of Baltic nrc that will enable 500 students of the nation to study in top Terran universities, free of cost.
The Terran nation believes that education is the best way to build a civilized nation.

Due to the possible threat at this grand ceremony a national guard is created and swiftly trained consisting of 250 Men and women, Only the guard and the world leaders shall be allowed in the capitol and it shall be kept under 24/7 surveillance and regular bomb and explosive checks will be carried out until as late as an hour before the actual event to guarantee the safety of our guests, Other regulations shall keep any of the crowd from getting close to the parade before the actual meeting/ party and only regulated and approved people may be in the parade, all people from origin of Darkiand are banned from entering the parrade but are allowed to view it.

hey all. It is with a heavy heart that I announce Thalassia's closure. And no, we won't be moving to another region this time either. The citizenry and the CR have both decided it's time to end the story of Pacifica, and then Thalassia, here. It's been a great time with you all, but everyone has decided we cannot simply keep going while sacrificing time, money, and our mental health.

Here's what that means for everyone

Embassies: diplomats will be around to announce the end of Thalassia shortly, and you may close embassies with us if you wish. However, I will be preserving the region and keeping embassies for the time being.

Citizens/residents: since I'll be preserving the region, it is in your best interest that you move your nations out in three days. I'll be kicking nations out then. No hard feelings :)

Everyone else: the fate of the discord server and the guilded server is still being discussed, but I assume it will be archived.

Finally, since Thalassia is ending, if anyone would like to suggest regions for members of Thalassia to move to (we are not merging, we don't wanna put that pressure on anyone) that would be appreciated.

Thank you all. This has truly been a great time with y'all and I'm going to be sad we're not gonna be around anymore. But all things must come to an end. A ship must finally sink.

Thalassia has been a home to me for almost two years. I cannot describe how it feels to have this place shut down.

Sad to see Thalassia go, good luck to everyone for the future.

All of you have been great people, possibly the best ones. I will miss each and every one of you and I love all of you. The Technocratic Federation of Terra bids its farewell and wishes all of you good luck in all aspects of life. May all of you find the best future for yourselves. It was fun while it lasted, it is very, very sad to see this end but all good things must come to an end, as wise person once said, "Don't cry because it is over, Smile because it happened".
