Our region did not participate as a group this year. Each nation was free to select a faction to join.

Big10 atheltics wrote:Transitive win, as in Tulane beat Kansas State and then Kansas State beat Oklahoma.
It's a stupid statistic that some people on the internet like to bring up as a joke sometimes. I suppose my attempt at doing the same didn't really come off as intended!

Tulane is doing well. I recall when Bernie Ellender’s Tulane Team defeated LSU and New Orleans went crazy. As for Oklahoma, their new coaching staff may not last very long!

Alabama without Bryce Young is a mediocre team. They may not even belong in the Top Ten.

That was quite the game. Y'all have a great team! I was telling a coworker today that was the first time in my time rooting for UT (since 2007) that they won. It's certainly refreshing to actually have a good coach for once. XD

It will be interesting if we get to play again on a neutral field.

I put a lot of thought into the top 3. Honestly I could see the argument for Ohio State, Tennessee, or Georgia at #1. Eventually I went with Ohio State, but that could easily change today. Tennessee certainly has the better wins, but Ohio State has looked completely dominant in every game they've played this year, spare the first half of the Notre Dame game (albeit against lesser competition).

I still don't think that Kentucky is that good. They lost to an average SC team.

Kentucky and NC State are two teams that I do think deserve to be in the top 25 but when it comes down to it aren't really that good. NC State would certainly be better if Devin Leary weren't injured, although even before his injury they looked questionable (See: East Carolina game). Kentucky has just looked sub-par all season (They only beat a 2-5 Northern Illinois team by one score earlier in this year!) and will in all likelihood get blown out by Tennessee next weekend.
I guess while I'm out it, I could also throw North Carolina into that group. Their good record is largely a product of a very weak schedule this far into the season.

LSU is improving as the season progresses. Both Ole Miss and LSU are capable of beating this season’s Alabama team.
