Bolshoi Theatre Bombing News Report // Novyymoscovia // 21XX Newscaster: "A bombing at the Bolshoi Theatre has just taken place around 7PM Moscow Standard Time. A suicide attacker intentionally detonated a bomb as he entered into the theatre, blowing up a huge portion of the complex. As of what live coverage we are able to get, the amount of casualties is currently unknown, but it is speculated that this could the largest mass casualty event on Soviet soil since the Frozen War. A large section of the roof has collapsed, leaving many people stranded in portions of the theatre. Emergency medical services and firefighters have arrived at the scene and are desperately making attempts to save as many people as they can. Premier Dimitri Fedorov: “Many Soviets have many questions tonight. They are asking: Who attacked our country? The evidence we have gathered all points to a massive terrorist organization on our borders known as MANSAB. They are the same murderers indicted for terrorizing our neighbours like the Yi and at a much smaller extent, the Chinese. The terrorists practice a fringe form of Islamic extremism that has been rejected by Muslim scholars and the vast majority of Muslim clerics -- a fringe movement that undermines the fundamental teachings of Islam. The terrorists' directive commands them to kill all religious believers, to kill all Soviets, and make no distinction among military and civilians, including women and children. This group is linked to many other organizations in different countries, including the Afghan Islamic Jihad and the MANSAB Movement of Central Asia. There are thousands of these terrorists in more than 15 countries. They are recruited from their own nations and neighbourhoods and brought to camps in places like West Asia and Iran, where they are trained in the tactics of terror. They are sent back to their homes or sent to hide in countries around the world to plot evil and destruction. West Asia, a country neighbouring MANSAB controlled Iran, is suspected to be holding MANSAB terrorists. This is not acceptable and must stop immediately. So tonight, the UFSSR makes the following demands on Iran and West Asia: Deliver to Russian authorities all the leaders of MANSAB who hide in your land. The terrorists are traitors to their own faith, trying, in effect, to hijack Islam itself. The enemy of the Soviets is not our many Muslim comrades; it is not our ally in southern Arabia. Our enemy is a radical network of terrorists, and every government that supports them. Our war on terror begins with Iran, but it does not end there. It will not end until every Islamic Jihadist State of global reach has been crushed, stopped and defeated. These terrorists kill not merely to end lives, but to disrupt and end a way of life.
