Vetting of Assembly Independent Candidates 15.10.20

In the knowledge that Independent Candidates may wish to stand in Assembly Elections and should be afforded the right to do this:
    (1) Independent Candidates may run on a party platform with the EXPRESS permission of the party, and this must be announced to the region
    (2) Independent Candidates who do not run on a party platform must adhere to the same standards electorally expected of parties as outlined in previous acts
    (3) Independent Candidates who do not run on a party platform must be approved by either:
      a. The founder
      b. The slide court
      c. A positive result of a regional poll

    (4) Independent Candidates must not have an active criminal record in the region
