Article 1: The Need For A Court
    1)
      a) Not every member of the Slide Countries knows all of the laws
      b) Not every member of the Slide Countries obeys the regional laws
      c) The creation of the Assembly has led to new laws
      d) Interpretation of these laws is vital to any complaint raised
      e) Clarification of laws is a necessity
      f) Court can evaluate the current legislation and point out need for new laws

    2)

      a) A fair court can guarantee justice for potential offenders
      b) A court can scrutinise the Cabinet and Assembly

Article 2: Makeup of the Sliding Court
    1) The Court is to contain three members, appointed by consent of the cabinet and assembly, and confirmed by regional vote
    2) No extra region need be created, the court will operate within this region

Article 3: Powers and Punishments
    1) For simple rule breakages, nations are to be punished in this way:
      a) Nations can be issued warnings for individual acts, three of which results in a 6 month ban
      b) Players can be issued warnings for individual acts that are more severe, three of which results in a 6 month ban for all nations of that player
      c) Nations can be issued with an instant ban for treasonous activities, such as collaboration with raiders

    2) Appeal:

      a) Nations will receive 12 hours notice of upcoming ban allowing for opportunity to appeal
      b) The Court must consider the appeal
      c) Nations are only eligible for one appeal per offence
      d) The Court may choose to decrease sentences
      e) The Court may overrule officer decisions either to punish or to spare

    3) Taking Nations to Court:

      a) Officers that notice rule-breaches must alert the court
      b) If officers have not noticed a rule-breach, nations may submit a grievance order to the court, which will be treated accordingly through standard process
      c) In all cases, both nations will be allowed to submit evidence etc
      d) The court's decision must be upheld
