(Europeia, August 12th, 2017) - Europeia was abuzz as three candidates stood for World Assembly Delegate following Malashaan's resignation. Kaboom, Alan Lee, and Aex all stood for the position hoping to secure the Delegacy for Europeia. In the first round of elections, Aex and Boomer were neck and neck all the way to the finish. Despite winning the plurality, Aex failed to secure a majority of votes, and the election moved to a run-off which is still undecided.

In the Legislative, Europeia's Senate officially repealed the Europeian Speech Protection Act, dividing its sections amongst numerous acts. As of today, the repeal awaits on the President's desk for his signature. In other Senate matters, Speaker Drecq opened discussion on Hidden Platform Integration, and amendment requiring the government to make note of private servers on discord that are not accessible to all citizens.

The Executive continues to show its Diplomatic success with a state visit between Europeia and the Britannian Kingdom upcoming in just a few days. State visits are a great time for Europeians to connect with other regions and expand the ideals of our Republic and the Independence we fight for.
