Vote Against SC resolution Condemn Lazarus
Ministry Review
Written by Hms unicorn
The current resolution at vote, seeking to condemn Lazarus, continues the pattern of badly-written proposals submitted by this author. The grounds provided for the condemnation are either obfuscation or flat out fabrications. For instance, Lazarus does not have the freedom of assembly restricted, and certainly does not have a secret policy. There is absolutely no evidence to support the accusation of supporting forum destruction, which is a very serious allegation to make against any nation or region in NationStates. And while, like all governments, the Lazarene government produces propaganda to support its policies, this propaganda can hardly be described as "brainwashing" or the thought police the proposal makes it sound like.
Given the lack of substantiation of the allegations and the fabrication of the facts used to substantiate it, we recommend a vote against this this condemnation proposal.
