Revived and Confused - (A help guide to newly revived nations)

Where am I? How did I get here?

Nations that die (after ~30 days of inactivity) and are reactivated, are usually refounded in one of 3 regions, chosen at random. These regions are:
- Balder
- Osiris
- Lazarus
If a nation has already been banned from these regions, they will instead be refounded in:
- The rejected realms

How do I leave?

You have two choices if you want to leave this region:

Move to another region
Go to that region's main page, and about halfway down the page, below the regional factbook entry, and just above the "World Census Report", is a button saying " move [your_nation] to [region]". Click it to do so. Some regions may be password protected, and you wont be able to enter without it.

Start your own region
Go to the Change Region page, and click the button saying " Found a New Region!".

What if I want to stay?

There are numerous ways to interact with the other nations of your region.

Each region has its own RMB (Regional Message Board) where you can post messages. You can also post on the
RMB of other regions if your current region has an embassy in that region, and embassy posting is enabled.

Regions may also have off-site stuff, such as forums, and chat groups (e.g. Skype, Discord). Links to these are usually in the regional factbook at the top of a region's main page.

Region Names

The names of 3 refounding regions come from various religious/mythological stories, that relate to death and/or rebirth:
- Balder is a Norse god who died, and will emerge from the underworld after Ragnarök (Norse apocalypse) to rule the new world.
- Osiris is an Egyptian god of life-death transition (both death, and resurrection).
- Lazarus was a man in the Christian Bible, who died, and was resurrected by Jesus of Nazareth.

Secret Zombie Issue

There is also a chance that refounding nations will get a secret "easter egg" zombie issue, within a few weeks of refounding.
If you answer this issue, you will get a little Easter egg icon on your page (where the "top 10%" icons are).
For more information on NationStates Easter eggs, see this factbook
This issue is unrelated to Z-day, which is a Halloween zombie event on NationStates.

Endorsements and World Assembly

Most regions will ask you to endorse their WA (World Assembly) delegate. To do this, and endorse other nations, you must first join the WA.
Endorsing, is the act similar to approving, or "like"-ing another nation.

The World Assembly

To join or leave the WA, click the " Apply to Join" or " Resign" button on the top of the World Assembly page.
You may only have one nation in the WA at a time.
Once you are a member of the WA, you may endorse other nations, and in turn, be endorsed.
You can also vote on WA issues (on the WA page).

Endorsing other nations
To give/receive endorsement, both nations must be members of the WA, and in the same region.
To endorse another nation, go to the bottom of that nation's page, and click the " Endorse [nation_name]" button.
To un-endorse a nation, click the " Withdraw Your Endorsement" button in the same place.
If a nation leaves the WA or the region, they will loose all their endorsements.

Endorsement caps, and government endorsments
Many regions have an endorsement cap, which can usually be found on the region's page.
The cap is the maximum number of endorsements your nation is allowed to receive in a region, and you may be penalised for exceeding this cap.
While there is no limit to how many nations you may endorse, please do not endorse nations that exceed the endorsement cap (other than regional government, as described below)
Endorsement caps exists as a safety measure against regions getting invaded.
As an extra measure against invasion, it is advised that you endorse the regional government. It will usually tell you who to endorse on a region's page.
