The National Flag commonly receives the name of Triband flag and it symbolises the Celtic-Briton heritage (represented by the red dragon) and the power and Dignity of the Avalonian Monarchy since the days of King Arthur. Its use is regulated by law and necessary in any official act but you can burn it at demonstrations. Cops won't get mad and people won't riot over it. We're cooler than that.

For two years, between 2013 and 2015, a version of the Royal Banner (sometimes called the Welsh flag rip-off) was widely used and accepted as the main National flag, but a Decree from King Lennart restored the former flag on the 24th of July, 2015, to easily differentiate Government acts from purely Royal appearances and messages.

Avalon's naval jack and military flag is also used as an alternative flag in unofficial acts and sport events. It looks awesome because it has a cross on it, and everybody knows a cross makes a flag look a lot better.
