The Republic of Elwana

The Republic of Elwana is a democratic republic located in the slavic regions. Its government can be described as liberal or social and encourages political freedom.

It is an economic powerhouse with high life expectancies. It was voted one of the most happiest countries to live in and all of this is achieved by a Third Way policy which utilises the country's full economic potential to spend on public services such as the National Health Fund which covers all hospital and health expenses.

It also spends although not alot on the police.

The country's strength lies in their education system. It is the most funded sector in the country and one of the best in the world and is the key component to economic prowess.

The country's pride is the Elwanian Armed Forces and spends quite alot on the sector and has several research programs. It has the latest technology, ballistics, armed vehicles and armoury and prides it self to serve Elwana and its people.

The country was formed by a heard of Spanish tribes entering the fertile land which soon would become Elwana but they were met
by the native people. Suprisingly they had alot of cultural similarities and both tribes formed together to make the modern day Elwañole citizen.

After the May revolution of 1888, the royal family was captured and accused of high treason against the Elwanian People. They were sentenced to life imprisonment and they were never heard of again. The country although happy that the tyranny of royalty was gone they realized that there was no leader to lead the country. Except one man and he was the founding member of the Elwañole People's Senate and introduced one of the most just constitutions in existence. His name was Vadim Orelov and is the praised leader which no one could ever replace him. Vadim Orelov was the leader of the May revolution and he was appointed due to this.

Today Elwana is an economic powerhouse with scientific advances and a space program with a functioning military and democratic principles.
