He has endorsed Morrow.

Thirty-six days.

That's all that remains.

Across Therrance, campaign offices are extending their hours. Volunteers are knocking on doors. Advertisements are multiplying. Campaign planes are moving from province to province.

Morrow and Redding are campaigning almost daily.

The candidates are sharpening their differences.

And inside the People's House, something else is happening.

Boxes have begun appearing.

President Jake Wallberg is leaving.

“YES. THERE ARE BOXES.”

TWN reporters noticed several moving boxes being carried through a private residential corridor of the People's House this week.

That produced the obvious question.

REPORTER: Are you moving out already?

WALLBERG: “I'm preparing.”

REPORTER: That's moving.

WALLBERG: “No. Moving is when you leave.”

REPORTER: There are boxes.

WALLBERG: “YES. THERE ARE BOXES.”

Another reporter asked what was inside.

WALLBERG: “Stuff.”

“What stuff?”

WALLBERG: “Fifteen years of stuff.”

“Can you be more specific?”

Wallberg stared at him.

“NO.”
😂 APPARENTLY, HE HAS TOO MANY MUGS

Wallberg later admitted one problem.

Coffee mugs.

A lot of them.

He says people have given him mugs during presidential visits for fifteen years.

WALLBERG: “Every town gives you a mug.”

REPORTER: How many?

WALLBERG: “I DON'T KNOW.”

REPORTER: More than 50?

WALLBERG: “Yes.”

“100?”

Pause.

WALLBERG: “Maybe.”

“200?”

Longer pause.

WALLBERG: “WE'RE DONE HERE.”

“WE HAVE TO FINISH THE WORK.”

Elaine Morrow spent today campaigning on housing affordability, healthcare costs, education and maintaining the practical-zero homelessness system.

Her message has increasingly focused on continuity without duplication.

At a Capital Province event:

“I don't believe the next President should arrive on January 1st and start tearing things apart simply to prove there's somebody new sitting behind the desk.”

But Morrow again rejected the suggestion that her candidacy represents a continuation of Wallberg's presidency.

“JAKE WALLBERG IS LEAVING.”

“He knows that.”

“I know that.”

“Thomas knows that.”

“And I suspect after fifteen years, the furniture knows that.”

Thomas Redding campaigned today on economic growth, private investment, manufacturing, technical education and government efficiency.

His argument has become increasingly direct:

The Republic can preserve successful programs without preserving every Wallberg-era method.

“Respecting the past does not mean being governed by it.”

Redding said he would preserve the Future Fund, current catastrophic healthcare protections, the practical-zero homelessness framework and major infrastructure already operating.

But:

“THE NEXT PRESIDENT HAS TO BE WILLING TO CHANGE WHAT NEEDS CHANGING.”

He criticized what he described as Morrow's tendency to treat too many existing federal programs as untouchable.

Morrow rejected that characterization.

“Thomas keeps promising to change things and then I ask him which successful thing he wants to break.”

Redding:

ONE OF THE RARE EASY QUESTIONS

Both candidates continue to pledge protection of the Future Fund.

Neither supports using its principal as an ordinary annual-government checking account.

Both support retaining the zero gas tax under current fiscal conditions.

Both support continued Petroleum Dividends.

Where they differ is more often in how future national revenue should be divided among government investment, private-sector incentives, public services and long-term savings.

Morrow argues that Therrance's wealth gives the Republic an opportunity to strengthen education, healthcare and affordability while maintaining fiscal discipline.

Redding argues that national wealth should not become an excuse for permanently expanding government expenditures.

🏠 PRACTICAL ZERO
BOTH SAY: KEEP IT

There remains little disagreement over the immediate objective.

Homelessness remains at the national practical-zero standard first reached July 29th, 1857.

Both candidates have committed to maintaining it.

The disagreement concerns the long-term architecture.

Morrow favors maintaining and, where necessary, strengthening federal prevention, supportive housing, rental assistance, mental-health and employment programs.

Redding favors maintaining the core system while regularly reviewing programs for duplication, cost and effectiveness.

President Wallberg, asked what he wants the next President to do:

“DON'T SCREW IT UP.”

A reporter laughed.

Wallberg did not.

“I'm serious.”

“Zero is not something we reached so somebody could put it in a museum.”

The transformation may be one of the strangest measures of success.

New Haven is no longer dominating national headlines.

Approximately 400,000 people live there.

People go to work.

Children go to school.

Businesses open and close.

Buses are late.

Restaurants get complaints.

Neighbors argue.

Traffic exists.

Parking remains irritating.

Wallberg was asked whether that disappoints him after years of national attention.

He looked confused.

“We weren't building a museum exhibit.”

“We were building somewhere people live.”

“People are still complaining about parking.”

Wallberg smiled.

THE PUBLIC WI-FI NETWORK IS COMPLETE

After four years of construction, installation, testing, difficult terrain work and repeated presidential refusals to declare victory early, the government today formally certified the national public-space Wi-Fi network as complete.

100% OF PLANNED QUALIFYING PUBLIC LOCATIONS ARE NOW CERTIFIED.

The network provides free access at participating public spaces including parks, libraries, civic facilities, transit areas, public plazas and other qualifying community locations.

It is not universal free home internet.

The final certification came after remote installations completed technical verification earlier this month.

President Wallberg received the certification document this morning.
