I'm Leaving at Noon

The last time I will be active will be at noon, August 6, 2026.

This will be my final message before I leave.

Over the past months, I dedicated a great deal of time and effort to building Cotydon. I poured my creativity into its history, culture, government, and the stories that surrounded it. It became something I was genuinely proud of, which is why writing this farewell is far more difficult than I ever expected.

Before I go, I want to make one thing clear. I never used alternate accounts to create drama, manipulate others, or disrupt the community. Any alternate accounts I had were used only for the purposes I had previously stated, and nothing more. I understand that not everyone shares my view, but I know the truth of my own actions.

What saddens me the most is not simply the outcome, but that so few people were willing to believe my explanation. I had hoped that my words would be heard with an open mind, yet it felt as though my statement had already been judged before it was fully considered. Whether or not others agree with me, I wish my perspective had been given the same fairness that I tried to extend to others.

It is also painful to realize that some people I believed I could trust ultimately did not stand by me. That has been one of the hardest parts of this experience, and it has left a lasting disappointment that I will not soon forget.
Today, I have finished deleting all of my factbooks. With that complete, I am ready to close this chapter and leave NationStates behind.

Despite everything, I do not wish bitterness upon this community. I am grateful to those who shared good memories with me, worked alongside me, and helped make my time here meaningful. Those moments will remain with me long after Cotydon is gone.

I leave with a heavy heart, disappointed by how my journey ended, but grateful for the experiences I had along the way. I sincerely hope that the community continues to grow and that others will find the same enjoyment I once found here.
