General Law of the Land

By the Hand of our Most Enlightened and Audacious PRINCE, herein lies the
GENERAL LAW OF THE FREE AND INDEPENDENT APOSTOLIC MOUNTAINOUS PRINCIPALITY OF MONTEALBA, THE MORALLY JUSTIFIED

Ćevap I: Form of Government
Montealba is a monarchy in the form of a principality headed by the sovereign prince.

Ćevap II: The Prince
The prince (Trigori) has full, unrestricted powers and does whatever.

Ćevap III: Nature of Governance
Montealba is ran according to the principles of organic government, thus a government that officially reflects the de facto way of governing in law, and therefore it is at the discretion of the prince to reflect this in law.

Ćevap IV: The Outlaw Mountains
Montealba accepts any and all exiles from whichever region they may come from. These people shall have the right to remain here for as long they wish to (and as long as the country accepts them). They shall not be extradited or persecuted for things they might have done in other regions. Montealba however reserves the right to deny these harbouring rights for any reason.

Ćevap V: National Symbols
Montealba employs a national flag for all official purposes and a patriotic flag to honor our past experiences.

The Star of Hocherlan is a special sacred symbol that must be protected.

The national anthem is any rendition of Hej Sokoly.

Ćevap VI: A Disgusting Story
Pokémon milking is banned and punishable by death.

Ćevap VII: Fair Rationing
Each consumer of cod in mayo shall be entitled to no more than two bread rolls.

Ćevap VIII: Fly Swatters
Each citizen shall possess a fly swatter with him at all times.

Ćevap IX: Long Name
The official long and full name of Montealba shall be The Free and Independent Apostolic Mountainous Principality of Montealba, the Morally Justified.

Ćevap X: Temperature Measurement
The BČ/ČNS Indexes shall be the official temperature measurement systems in Montealba.

Ćevap XI: The Voivodes
A voivode is a feudal warlord ruling over a territory whose title is officially granted by the ruling prince.

The realm of a voivode is known as a voivodeship.

Ćevap XII: Homeslicehood
One must be bestowed homeslicehood in order to be a full Montealban. The prospectee must demonstrate possession of a Montealban heart and spirit. Bestowing homeslicehood is upon the discretion of the prince.

Ćevap XIII: Holidays
These are the observed holidays of Montealba:

  • Every day, Kintada's Birthday

  • June 14th, Hocherlan's Birthday

  • July 3rd, Second Independence Day

  • July 3rd to July 6th, Independence Holidays

  • July 6th, First Independence Day

  • July 24th, Founding Day

  • December 8th, Martyr Day

Ćevap XIV: Capital City
The capital city of Montealba is Stuyevka.

Ćevap XV: Currency
The official currency is the Krumpelcoin, issued by the printing press in Stuyevka.

Ćevap XVI: Moskals
No Russoids are allowed within Montealba. Any embassies will be bombed.

Ćevap XVII: The Butlerian Jihad
No thinking machines are permitted. Any artificial intelligence or its usage will be beaten with sticks, blown up with dynamite and the remains fed to Meylean seagulls.

Ćevap XVIII: Molotov's Cocktail
Advertisement by foreign countries is banned.

Ćevap XIX: The Apostolic Palatines
One or two of the voivodes may be appointed by the Prince to the powerful honour of an Apostolic Palatine. These become peers to the Prince and act as co-rulers or regents, especially if needed to cover for His Princely Majesty (such as when recovering from an apricot tummy overload). The Prince retains the power to override acts of the Palatines. In an event that the Prince and his homunculus kept in a glass jar would cease to exist, the Apostolic Palatine succeeds as the new Prince of Montealba. What? There happens to be two of them? Good luck then!

Ćevap XX: I Want Them
A cart of apricots must be delivered to the Palace every Saturday.

Ćevap XXI: The Well-Endowed Chancellor
A Princely appointee, this position in the court is well-endowed with the power to handle foreign affairs, keep track of treaties and insult dignitaries according to the whims of the government.

Ćevap XXII: But Here's the Catch
Voting is not a Montealban value but a PolSci degeneracy. Voting is banned.

Ćevap XXIII: Velmožny Snem
The Velmožny Snem, or Magnates' Council is the assembly of the voivodes. Its purpose is to advise the Prince, assist in governance and oppress serfs.

Ćevap XXIV: Plemensky Zbor
The right to political chaos belongs to every Montealban. All that are not voivodes have the right to hold and participate in a Plemensky Zbor, or Tribal Assembly.

Ćevap XXV: On Sharing the Load
Every real resident (serf) of Montealba that is not a voivode is assigned one to be their loving feudal lord. The claiming of serfs is done by the Magnates' Council, or, if it cannot come to a conclusion, by the Prince or his delegated official for this task. A serf may only work for their voivode.

Ćevap XXVI: Right of the Dibs
Any returning voivode is entitled to their old voivodeship, provided it is currently not headed by a different voivode. If there is a conflict, it will be resolved IN THE FIELD OF BATTLE.

Ćevap XXVII: The Court
The Magnates' Council shall also serve as the Court of Law, evaluating and passing judgement on transgressors.

Ćevap XXVIII: Of the Kofolaks
Only a Slovak may be Voivode of Kofola-Krumpelberg.

Ćevap XXIX: I Will Blow You Up
No supporter of Israel, the American pedophile class or (reaffirming Ćevap XVI) Russia is allowed to tread on Montealban soil, hold an embassy or be party to a treaty.

Ćevap XXX: Gazda of the Corns and Orchards
The bearer of this title is in charge of ensuring all the agriculture is working correctly; that neither the land nor the serfs are overworked; that the harvests will be sufficient; and that there is enough food properly stored in the event of crop failure or famine. Every now and then, but no longer than a month apart, they shall give a report to the court.

Ćevap XXXI: Hospodar of the Apricot
The Hospodár Marhule is tasked with delivering one cart of apricots to the Palace every Saturday.

Ćevap XXXII: Archcanon
The Archcanon heads the religion in Montealba and tends to the flock. They remind us of holidays and clarify customs.

Ćevap XXXIII: On Cults
Vedulism and any other religion or cult the Prince doesn't like is banned from Montealba.
