Welcome to Circumference

The Commonwealth of Circumference is a Progressive Tech Roleplay region on NationStates. Originally founded as a Sci-Fi region by Free jovian republic, it was given new life by its founder under the account Norrs and was rebranded as a 1950's progressive tech region. It values a semi-realistic roleplay experience for those wishing a breath of fresh air and break from traditional Earth-style past tech roleplays. While it focuses on roleplay and worldbuilding, Circumference also aims to provide a welcoming community free from drama and toxicity.

A Semi-Constitutional Parliamentary Monarchy, Circumference has a monarch, the Grand Duchess of Roses, who has limited absolute power, an elected Chancellor who is in charge of the executive branch (the Chancellery), and a Parliament comprised of the citizens of Circumference and is led by an elected Speaker. Circumference has a judicial branch, the Commonwealth Court, that is led by a Chief Justice and is responsible for presiding over judicial cases in Circumference, including those of Criminal and State crimes as well as questions on constitutionality.

CITIZENSHIP

WHAT IS CITIZENSHIP?

Citizenship is the method by which Circumference provides power to its members. Citizenship is needed to join the Roleplay, and is also needed to partake in any government activities, such as voting and joining the government. Citizenship also allows Circumference to make sure that democratic processes are fair through elimination of puppeteer votes.

HOW DO I GET CITIZENSHIP?

To become a citizen, you must meet the following requirements;

• You must not be blacklisted from Circumference or any allied region through which Circumference has a Interregional Banlist agreement,

• You must not currently reside, or within the past 6 months resided in, a blacklisted region,

• You must fully complete a Citizenship Registration Form.

Only once you have gotten the notification that you have been added to the Citizenship Registry may you exercise the rights and powers of citizenship.
