The Trailblazer Update Force is responsible for seizing our targets in fast paced, real time action during the two updates that occur daily. Those intending to join the Trailblazer Update Force must be free during at least one update when the call to arms sound.

Sailor: Promotion after the conclusion of a successful training run, when it has been demonstrated that the member has understood and grasped the basics of training. At Sailor rank, members are encouraged to join runs whenever they can to practice their pointing ability. It is common for those who already have experience in foreign militaries may be enlisted at this rank.

Ensign: Promotion to Ensign after command determines that the member has grasped the ability to conduct points and has shown reasonable activity. At Ensign, members start learning how to trigger, and are encouraged to start leading their own runs. Some members who already have experience in foreign militaries may be enlisted at this rank.

Quartermaster: Promotion comes after the member has been familiarised with triggering and is comfortable with leading runs. Quartermasters have a general grasp of the gameplay scene, and can start inviting other organisations to join in on runs. Quartermasters will also be introduced to defending tactics and practice those on the field to hone their skills.

Lieutenant: The first junior officer grade. Members at this rank are generally a familiar face around the EPSA, and have considerable experience in all the tactics. They are given free rein to help out in training the lower ranks, supervising runs and keeping standards sharp in the armada.

Captain: An officer rank where one joins the core command corps. Members at this rank are extremely experienced and are typically recognised across gameplay as faces of EPSA. As a commander, their roles include planning activities for the armada as a whole.

Commodore: The second in charge of the Armada. They are appointed by the Admiral of the fleet, and will keep an eye on day to day affairs and activity.

Admiral: The Admiral of the fleet is appointed by the Delegate of TEP serving as the Commander in Chief of armed forces. The Admiral will keep an eye on the strategic direction of the armada and liaise with the cabinet on activities.
