Infantry Divisions
The Norman Army is composed of New-Normandy's most expandable men. They are the primary means used to invade foreign territories and maintain the peace within them. They get a year's training before being shipped off to a military base abroad or in the homeland. Most use standard issue CA-92 rifles chambered in 7.92 Kurz.

Formed in 1930 under King Réjean's reign, the EE are elite soldiers tasked with mapping and documenting uncharted lands as well as being the first to break enemy lines in times of war. They are the successors to Normandy's viking founders, raiding and pillaging everything in their way as their ancestors once did.

Nowadays, they are bred from New-Normandy's strongest warriors. They are resistant to cold temperatures as well as many diseases and parasites. Their reduced empathy and self-preservation instinct often makes them die heroic deaths in battle.
EE jungle gear
They have access to CA-92 rifles, FP-74 marksman rifles chambered in 7.92 Kurz and FL-64 LMG's, chambered in 7.92 Mauser. They also use flamethrowers, rocket launchers and nichrome heat maces. Up north, they are equipped with state-of-the-art combat armor consisting of amosite-lined polymer plate granting protection from medium-sized projectiles as well as the extreme cold. Their gas masks, which come by default with a fine particle filter, can also be used to fend off different gasses via more specialized filters.

Handpicked from the toughest EE veterans, the Varengian Guard patrol every corner of the royal palace in Montréal. They are named after the varangian of old who migrated east and swore to protect the Byzantine emperors.

Also equipped with a polymer plated suit of armor, these highly decorated men generally seen wielding a modest Dane axe also have access to highly advanced energy weapons. There are 1,066 Varangian guards at all time, an eternal reminder of when the Normans conquered and changed the British Isles.
