The Anti-Book Act

The Empire of The Platypuses is strongly against books. For this reason, two months ago, the Arch-Platypus signed the anti-book act. All books of any kind, throughout the empire, must be set ablaze or fed to a llama. Instead of using books, Platypuses are encouraged to use scrolls. The punishment for not using a scroll is death. The Arch-Platypus's hope is that this will encourage other nations to stop using books as well. The reason for this act is that the Arch-Platypus intends to make The Empire of The Platypuses the number one scroll-making nation in the world. Once we control the scrolls, we will control the world economy. From there, we can take over the world.
