FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (or questions you might ask)
Are you Chinese?
It really depends on your definition. If you mean a Han Chinese person born only in the Peoples Republic of China, and has Chinese citizenship, then no. If you include Taiwan and the non-Han parts of China then still no.
If you include anyone with Chinese parents or grandparents then yes. My grandparents are Chinese in a way, so I'm around maybe 25% Chinese. In reality, I am Filipino living on Luzon Island.
Do you speak Mandarin?
Hell no.
Tones.....
Is Yangchenia Dragon themed because you were born in the Year of the Dragon?
No. In Chinese mythology, Dragons are considered legendary creatures so Yangchenia featuring Dragon lore doesnt mean I was born on the Year of the Dragon. In reality I was born on the 27th year of the sexagenary cycle (Year of the Yang Metal Tiger)
Why did you decide to learn Russian?
Because I wanted to. Learning another language doesnt mean I want to go to the country where it's spoken, sometime it's just for fun.
ALSO: For pro-Ukranian people out there, even though I am learning Russian doesnt mean I support Putin. He is a war criminal responsible for the deaths of countless innocent people. He is leading Russia to destruction.
Slava Ukrainy - Remember Alexei Navalny - Svoboda Rossiya!
Why do you want to visit North Korea?
North Korea is a very...interesting place. The media often looks at North Korea's violent nuclear weapons program, it's human rights atrocities, and the totalitarian dictatorship. Almost no attention is given to life in North Korea for people....not in prison or in the government. What is culture like in North Korea? What are festivals like in North Korea?
So this is why I want to visit it. Maybe not right now but maybe when it gets safer.
