Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
¼ cup ouzo
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, zested and juiced
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine the ouzo, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, dill, and parsley.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper and place them in a shallow dish.
Pour the ouzo marinade over the salmon, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
Remove the salmon from the marinade and lightly shake off excess.
If grilling, place the salmon directly on the grill, skin side down, and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. If baking, place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Serve the salmon warm, drizzled with any leftover marinade for extra flavor
