The Duchy of Ottavo is a constituent division within the Kingdom of Vapia & Lezza. The island province was once jointly administered by the governments of Vapia and Reme, but was later given to former Remen Emperor Michael III as a show of friendship between the former Emperor and the King of Vapia. Michael III rules as the local noble, and wields moderate powers, sharing power with a council of local lords.
