Ask the Security Council!
What is this about?
Security Councillors are trustworthy and experienced members of the region. But how much do you know about each of them individually? Don't worry, that's what Ask the Security Council is here for! Every week, Vice Delegate Gorundu will ask the Security Councillors a question on the regional message board, and you can see what the Security Councillors have to say about it. The questions could be about anything - whether it's about the Security Council specifically, about The North Pacific or NationStates in general, or even their lives outside of the game!
And in case you miss what the Security Councillors have to say each time, or you don't check the regional message board often, we'll keep a record of all their answers in this dispatch below so you can always look back and see what they have already answered.
What questions have they already answered?
How did you discover NationStates?
It's May 2018.
He got fed up of hearing me play Candy Crush.
He said:
'I know you're old Dad, but you still have some intelligence left.'
'Why don't you play a game where you can create your own nation and make it the way you want it and play/interact on a political world stage.'
'It doesn't take long.'
'And you can join me with my mates in the north pacific.'
So here I am, coming up to nearly 5 years later, Neo hardly looks at NS anymore, all his mates have gone.
But I'm still here.........
I joined the TNP forum and discord, became a deputy minister and then a minister, became the Chancellor of TNPU and reached the heady heights of a security Councillor in December 2019.
I have really enjoyed my time on NS, I now spend a lot of time on the RMB, TNP forum and Discord.
I'm an ex LGA and current GA.
One of my NS highlights was actually meeting El Fiji Grande IRL last year. 😊

When I started out, I didn't even know what a forum was. There was no Discord. We had an AOL chatroom. Very shortly after my first nation was created, UPS Rail became delegate, followed in rapid succession by Great Bight. Then all hell broke loose with mass bannings, and the entire region in disarray. That's when I became more than just a casual player.

Turns out I didn't.

Can I ask a question to the Security Councillors?
You sure can! If you have a question you want to ask, simply contact Vice Delegate Gorundu with your question and it will be posted if it's suitable. Alternatively, if you want to ask a question to a specific Security Councillor or the Vice Delegate, simply contact them privately with your question, and they'll be more than happy to answer. You can find a list of Security Councillors here.
