Worker's Rights' Protection Act I

The Worker's Rights' Protection Act I is an Act proposed by the 1st Prime Censor of Urbania as a method of providing guidelines to employers of factory workers, and manual labor workers and employees.

The act mentioned prior will enforce the following:

-Minimum wages for all forms of labor will be 42 Léiya/hour.

-All will be taxed according to their annual income, which will be no more and no less than 12% for the time being, instead of a set number, in hopes to decrease the likes of a monopoly forming.

-Civil Industrial Workers will be paid at least 45% of the average market value of the product they output. This may hopefully motivate workers to work harder, and keep the workers from being under-paid for their labor.

-Citizens below the age of 15 years, are not to be employed by any official workplace. The employer may be arrested, fined, or jailed if true.

-Employees may sue their employers for any significant injury they recieve on the job, unless otherwise specified in a waiver signed by the employee, in which it states that they could become injured in such a way while on the job.
In such a case, they may not sue their employer.
