OLD PASIFIKAANER SHIPS PUT UP FOR SALE

The Pasifikaaner navy are selling their old ships.
The Pan-Pacific States navy has put up several of their old ships up for sale.

Earlier this year, Pasifikaaner ship designing company PasiArman designed a blueprint.

The blueprint included designs for a new fleet of ships to be used by the Pasifikaaner Navy.

The designs were sent to a ship building company called Keppel-Tsunheishi who built the new ships.

The ships were officially launched this week.

The old ships have now fallen out of use, and the navy of the Pan-Pacific States is now offering to sell some of them to other countries.

Some of the ships that are up for sale include the former Escort Carrier PNV Hidalgo.

The Hidalgo will be sold with the 3 battlecruisers and 2 missile cruisers that complemented it.

The Pasifikaaner government stated that all sales would be done on a case-by-case basis.

They claimed that this was to make sure that the technologies on the ships would not fall into "adversarial nations".

They also were careful to point out that no sales would be exempt from the International Law on the Sale of Arms.

WORLDVISION BEGINS

The WorldVision musical contest has now begun, and many of the contestants have arrived at the Sangeet Natak Akademi in Indus City in Kingdom of the Indus, where the contest is being held.

"This is a music contest... that will be like no other," said the judges during the opening address.

"This is our base, the Sangeet Natak Akademi - the most prestigious drama school in South Asia.

"And these are the contestants. They will use no autotune, and they will use no backing tracks - only talent will get them through.

"11 different countries will be competing - but only one will take home the gold.

This is WorldVision."

In other news, two handmaids from North Gilead have escaped from their country and may be heading to the Kingdom of the Indus to participate in the contest.

North Gilead is offering a reward for their capture.

VANTIERIAN CONSERVATIVE PARTY COLLAPSES OVER SAME-SEX ADOPTION; ELECTIONS OPEN

A Vantierian lesbian couple with their newly adopted children.
The Conservative Party of Vantier has broken up after the Conservative government passed a new bill that permitted same-sex couples (married or unmarried) to adopt children.

The bill was extremely controversial from the moment it was proposed.

One Conservative MPs who was against the bill called it a "ludicrous" proposal, and Justine Dugas, the new Vantierian Prime Minister, explicitly ordered members of the party to vote against it.

However, over 50% of Conservatives defied her orders and voted "Aye" in favour of the bill.

Dugas kicked all of the pro-adoption Conservative MPs out of the party.

The MPs who got kicked out formed a new party known as the "People's Party".

Under the leadership of Justine Dugas, the anti-adoption MPs then disbanded the Conservative Party and created the National Party.

The National Party is comprised of what used to be the hard-right faction of the Conservative Party - it is more socially and economically right-wing than the People's Party, which is comprised of what used to be the center-right faction of the Conservative Party.

Vantierian law states that if the ruling party dissolves, a new election must be held.

The full list of parties that are contesting the election are the National Party, the People's Party, the Liberal Party, the Social Democratic Labor Party, Fascist Party and the Communist Party.

The parties will release their manifestos some time within the next few days.

HEAD OF SJEVREAN INTELLIGENCE SERVICE FIRED

Sir Platanovich, head of the Sjevrean Intelligence Service (SIS) has been fired after an internal investigation revealed that he may have ordered the assassination attempt on the life of Solvein P Morchands (current Prime Minister of Sjevre) and his colleague Vladimir Usjkov.

The investigation was triggered when an SIS insider (who wished to remain anonymous) passed on a post-it note to the head of the SIS.

The note allegedly contained a message believed to have been written by Platanovich and it was addressed to Timo Klimatov (the man who killed Julien Messange).

Klimatov was released from prison recently so that he could participate in an SIS "special operation".

The SIS so far has refused to offer any details on what the "special operation" entailed.

The note read "[Putler] has asked me to free you, he wants you to kill Morchands thanks to thoughts he has that Morchands killed Messange."

Morchands's colleague Vladimir Usjkov appeared in an interview soon after Platonovich was fired.

"I totally agree with the boss's [Morchands'] decision to fire Platonovich. If there is any evidence of possible betrayal of a leader they should be fired." said Usjkov.

"I can't imagine doing that to Solvein," he continued.

"I can imagine the SIS getting Klimatov out of prison for 'reasons' only they know."

So far, it is not known whether Platanovich has been arrested. The Sjevrean police have refused to comment.

F.I.R INSURGENCY CONTINUES

The Free Island Resistance (F.I.R) in Glory Be Ferret's territory in New Zealand have continued to carry out attacks against Ferretian authorities.

The peacekeepers who were sent to New Zealand to maintain peace have so far sustained minimal casualties from the attacks - only 2 peacekeepers have died and a handful have been injured.

The peacekeepers have gathered intelligence which suggests that the FIR used to be an extremist cult who opposed contact with the outside world and had ritual executions for those who violated their beliefs. It has been determined that the FIR's presence is strongest in the South-West of New Zealand.

The peacekeepers have sustained minimal injuries, but the same cannot be said for the civilians.

The F.I.R, frustrated with their lack of success targeting government buildings, has now moved to targeting civilians.

Dozens of people have been injured in this new wave of terror, and that number is expected only to keep increasing.

Alfred Henderson, the person who is believed to be the leader of the Free Island Resistance, released a manifesto recently.

"The Free Island Resistance stands against those who try to take our land from our power," it said.

"We will not submit to those who deny us our beliefs and our way of life. Until our last breath, we will fight those who oppose our freedom."

THE LATEST NEWS FROM SULASBURG

It was revealed today that the government of Sulasburg has retreated to an emergency network of undergroud bunkers in the northernmost areas of the Sulan province of Eväbedil.

They claimed that the Oruzian army had come too close to uncovering their previous location.

The violence somewhat subsided after the Sulan army made significant advancements, pulling the occupation line back to Hëmendil, seven border districts in Amra, one in Chelęndur and three in Eväbedil.

Vël Armenyi has not been retaken by the Sulans, however.

The Sulan government will start a confirmation election for acting president of Sulasburg Vëlmnar Ievenįa-Sců.

They have also announced that they too will ban citizens of Vantier from travelling to Sulasburg.

In his palace, Fyelnil Ernolįč (governor of the new province of Aplašchia which was created from former Filipinni lands) made a speech about the recent collapse of Filipinn.

“It is with a great mix of feeling that I take on the role bestowed upon me by Her Royal and Imperial Majesty Ërl’u Hyárdustír," he said.

"The Filipinni have long been friends to Sulasburg, and to see a nation we long considered a child, albeit one achieving much than we have in many ways, collapse is something which saddens many here greatly.

In opposition to this is my optimism at the creation of this province. Sulasburg, in a time of great sorrow, has been offered a new opportunity. The acceptance of Aplašchia by HRaIM has brought us a gift of a fresh start, of an obliging population, of something we may shape to our most benevolent designs. We are now closer than ever before to our benefactor and closest friend Potenzia. Travel, communication and cooperation between us can now be easier than previously ever thought possible, and the multitudinous economic opportunities of this province, shaped by us and grown by Filipinn, will aid in regrowing our wounded homeland.

With the utmost humility I accept this position, and welcome heartily the Aplašchal into our hallowed federation. It is my hope that at the end of my term, we may have no remaining barriers to the incorporation of Aplašchia as a tenth kingdom. Welcome to our bright future!”

SJEVREAN DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER DISMISSED

A stock image of a judge's gavel.
Karl Joserheim (Sjevrean Deputy Prime Minister, Home Secretary and the leader of the For Savraanakas Party) has been dismissed for allegedly abusing his position.

Months ago, a variety of criminal allegations were made against Joserheim.

They included: physical assault, sexual assault and verbal harassment.

In total, seven different allegations were made against him, which was enough for the police to launch a formal criminal investigation into his activities.

He was taken to court last week, and the trial was presided over by Sjevrean Supreme Court Judge Maria Sokolovska. However, before the second day of his trial began, police allegedly caught Joserheim attempting to bribe the judge, who refused the cash.

The King of Sjevre was then informed of Joserheim's supposed bribery attempt soon afterwards.

Yesterday afternoon, the King and Joserheim met in the Royal Palace, where the King informed Joserheim that he was fired.

Journalists who reportedly witnessed the event claimed that they saw the King shouting angrily at Joserheim - one Sjevrean tabloid newspaper claimed that "Joserheim was suddenly hit with the enormity of his mistakes" and that "[Joserheim] turned pale with fear".

The For Savraanakas Party has announced that the next leader of the party will be Josev Kakkalainen.

The new replacement for the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Secretary has not been announced, however.
