How the world would be ruled by one government

In this world of freedom and will of way, why should there be one world government, with a dictatorship installed.

Let's take a look at what happens.

This scenario could be true.

For one government to rule the world, it would in the beginning must be a world superpower and convince
hundreds of thousands of nations to join him or her country. If this does not happen there will be a large scale world war against him/her and her allies. The government type should be one of the following:
Democracy
Fasism
Dictatorships
Federations
Communism
Etc,

This is just a few examples of the types of governments that can rule the world. The manpower and economy of this country must be massive enough to rival everyone. All the laws and cultures will be talked about in the internal government. I'm not saying this could be true and I am a small nation so I really do not know how this could happen.

I recommend people who read this use this as an example of how you could take over the world.
