Christian Populations

Christianity is the largest religion in Buffalo and Assiniboia, accounting for over half of the population among its various branches. Divided by Cities the proportion of the population that professes some denomination of Christianity is as follows:

• Regina: 68%

• Saskatoon: 66%

• Lethbridge: 65%

• Winnipeg: 64%

• Red Deer: 60%

• Calgary: 56%

• Edmonton: 56%
  

Rural populations have the highest proportion of Christians, coming in at 70%.

How these statistics translate to votes for the Christian Socialist Union (CSU) is muddy at best, but as a rule 20% to 35% of Christians will prefer the CSU in elections.
