N-Day6: A Mixed Bag

This N-Day kind of left a lot to be desired. When I say that, I'm referring to the overall course of events of the broader event, not my personal performance. All of my major ideological enemies and GCRs formed the two major megafactions of the event, removing approximately a third of my target list, and these two factions further stomped most competition, leaving it harder for me to go about my business. At some points, other faction members were even shielding my launches despite being in the same faction, presumably because they knew who I was... I will also say the idea to create extra duplicate factions to claim all 10 leaderboard spots was an ingenious idea, it's a shame I hadn't thought of it myself.

Anyways, the rest of the targets I had in mind were absolutely annihilated. The Vincence Empire, Institute of Cellulose, KAISERREICH, and Confederation of Corrupt Dictators, to name a few, were reduced to rubble almost exclusively by J o Jian made nukes, sent to them with kind regards. I also got to work with some swell individuals under various names. All in all, I do wish this year hadn't been so dry in terms of political maneuvers and faction wars, but it was a victorious year nevertheless.

Without further ado, here's the stats of the state of J o J for this year's N-Day. (Keep in mind this was all laboriously done by hand with no aid from plugins, scripts, extensions, etc.)

Strikes: 14,831
Intercepts: 1809
Shields "borrowed": ~600
Nations Destroyed: 107
Factions Destroyed: 6
Radiation Taken: ~2,400
TOTAL SCORE: ~12,431

This figure does not count anything occurring after I stopped playing the event around 9 AM EST. Also, thanks to Crabs and Potatoes for involuntarily giving me free shield services :)

This year consisted of a bit more puppets used than last year, but due to the lack of viable targets, I only ended up using around 200 or so. I started the event off with a faction based out of The Shadow Collective, doing some hit and run tactics to maintain third/fourth place for most of the event until the duplicate crab factions and some other factions showed up near the late hours. However, the majority of operations took place under the helpful shield protection of The Potato Alliance and Crabs of the Apocalypse.

In regards to the specific attacks, the first barrage went to the lucky winner of The Vincence Empire, solely because they showed up first. It wasn't a very strong assault, all things considered, just a warm up round. This initial attack actually took place from The Shadow Collective, as the earliness of the attack allowed me to strike unhindered.

After moving my puppets into The Potato Alliance and getting some production ready, I took to devastating Vault 9153 of Institute of Cellulose. These guys are not very nice and talk about me behind my back, so this was only natural. This was one of my favorite operations because I came back to hit them again several times over, and because I was attacking them from Potato they thought their "peace treaty" or something that they established with The Potato Alliance had been betrayed. lol. They also accused me of using Breeze which is funny because this wasn't even the fastest or most efficient assault of mine during the event. (I would never use that yucky stuff anyways, I do everything by hand, the old fashioned way.) In total, I think somewhere in the realm of 3,000-4,000 or more radiation was dealt to this faction by myself. (rough estimate)

Then I focused my attention on KAISERREICH, whom my friends over at The Wolf Clan were all too eager to cheer on. KR's "naval infantry" faction was pretty feeble and had no organization or purpose to it, and so it was easily swept aside. Later in the event, when more showed up in an attempt to revitalize the faction, I just blasted them all over again.

I followed that up by immediately turning around and wiping out Confederation of Corrupt Dictators. This was equally as amusing because they got pummeled by Potatoes and Crabs so hard that they issued a formal surrender on their faction WFE entry as I was continuing to eliminate their remaining forces.

After blowing up all those factions, I had some fun nuking a few other random factions who had targeted an allied puppet, who was sadly targeted with over 2,000 nukes because my faction was in 1st place at the time... I also had to deal with defending my poor puppet Jojaa34 which got target locked in TSC from a wide array of meanies, including Xoriet and Frenchy ii. There was also this strange attempt by Sweeze to send puppets into The Shadow Collective, presumably to enter them into the faction to intentionally let them be destroyed to tank my score. Apparently unbeknownst to them, the faction had been set to locked, not regionally exclusive, so this was pointless. (Or maybe they just wanted to stop by and say hello to their favorite Green Menace) Needless to say, those puppets rode the heels of my boots all the way down to the Rejected Realms.

At this point the two major factions had basically stomped everybody outside of their MDP and left the event boring and uneventful, so I withdrew my most important puppets just in case they turned on each other overnight and took a short rest. I woke up right when they began targeting each other... I moved out a lot of my forces, but a handful got target locked and destroyed. After that I regrouped my forces and did a little more striking on various factions before finally calling it quits a little before 9 AM EST. I was in the middle of forming a brand new faction to launch a surprise attack from to regain a spot on the leaderboards too, but I got bored and simply abandoned the project. It was unlikely that I would find an adequate target to get score from anyways. I imagine that got nuked into oblivion once people saw a faction bearing my name on it with no defenses. :P

Oh, and I was also gonna go blow up Python and some other people, but sadly, they had already bit the nuclear dust.
