The Tevarisian flag

Tevaris is a relatively small country which always had the rule of resolving things peacefully. Peace is presented in the flag as the big harp in the middle of it. Even the autonym means "close to peace" (Tëvrës, peace-near [Tyev-ryes]).

The four strings represent the four "biomes" presented in it's map: the cold tundras, the plains and forests, mountains and hills, and the huge lake named Paaklosilë (literally means "brothers", "lake brotherhood") which lies in the middle of the nation.

Around said harp there are exactly nine stars. Each of them represents a specific region in the country:

-Since no Tevarisian lives literally on top of lake Paaklosilë, it's just not considered.

-In the cold tundras, Mëskal is the only region, known for people barely living in there because of its yay cold weather.
It contains less than 1% of the whole population. The capital city, Mëskal City or just Mëskal, meaning "white", contains 80% of said 1%.

-In the plains and forests, four regions exist: Tümi, Kösnü, Ralas and Kyres. Kyres City or just Kyres is the capital and most populated city. It also means "near the ocean" (Kütrës, ocean-near [koot-ryes]). They all occupy around 60% of the people, Kyres alone having more than 30% of the entire population.

-In the mountains and hills, another four regions are presented: Jaskte, Qjot, Tomkoj and Tikom. If these sound different from the names presented previously, that's because they come from the Grendian language, not Tevarisian. Grendians were once an independent nation, but since they weren't doing well economically, they merged with Tevaris to become the Grendan-Tevarisian confederation, which was just shortened again to Tevaris by request from the Grendians. They contain the remaining ~40%.

Speaking about Grendians, that's what the blue in the flag means. Red, a golden harp and 5 stars were originally the flag of Tevaris, until the Grendians and their four districts united.

Red also means the bloody and war-filled past and blue the shining future. The golden stars and harp are the status quo.
