Rusivit at a glance

History
Rusivit is a nation formed through many civil wars and cultural revolutions. After many years of an uncertain communist rule 'The Democratic Rebellion' was held establishing the country as a democratic armed republic. The country still keeps many communist values but now believes heavily in political democracy.

Culture
Rusivit is mostly of Italic or Slavic ethnicity. Settled originally by explorers from the USSR in 1952, after it's establishment many liberal Italians packed and left for this communist utopia. More recently in the late 90's an influx of Swiss immigrants arrived thanks to the promising beginnings of a cheese industry. Most Rusivitians speak Uvalino, a latin based language with a slavic tinge. Rusivit uses the Cyrillic alphabet.

Landscape
Rusivit is situated a few hundred kilometers off the southern cost of what used to be Kazakhstan. It is full of temperate rivers and grassland, with native woodland dotted over the landscape. Rusivit consists of two islands, Pod Bosom and Novaya Yukagir separated by little more than a large river. Notable pre existing fauna include a native hare, polar bears, deer, and a native raven.
