When I began the run for president, I had one opponent, one who I believe was equally qualified to lead Blackstar into success. However, he fell ill to injury and I took the role of president.

Mission Statement: Provide a safe and secure NationStates environment both at home and abroad.

Head of War: Can no rey

Branches:

  • The Army
    Requirements for joining: None.

  • The Legionaries
    Requirements for Joining: Must have prior experience or experience in the Army.

  • The Office of Oversight
    Requirements for Joining: Must be approved by the Head of War.

Code of Conduct:

  • The BMC will only operate in self-defense, and with reasonable cause.

    • An exception to this rule is the performing of Detags.

  • Members of the BMC must uphold politeness, respect, and optimism when in foreign regions.

    • Members of the BMC are subject to punishment or expulsion for violating the above

    Tribunals:

  • A Tribunal may be held by the Head of War or a designated prosecutor when deemed necessary.

    • Necessary circumstances include: illegal activities, unconstitutional activities, espionage, refusal to take orders, aiding an enemy, or acting against the general interests of the BMC or Blackstar.

  • Each defendant has the ability to hire a lawyer, and seek legal aid.

  • Failure to attend their tribunal or participate will result in immediate expulsion from the BMC and direct recommendation for expulsion from Blackstar.

They are personal assistants of Attache. Attachees can declare their assistant if they want. This is not an official position in the department
The junior most officer in the department. They had to report their work on a weekly basis to a counselor. They go with a counselor to gain experience and can be sent alone only by the Secretary of Foreign Affair.
They are the one that actually go to other regions to represent Blackstar.They don't have to make weekly reports but have to answer the question by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs
They are the ones that go to other regions for the long term. They are only sent to the closest Allies of Blackstar.

BLACKSTAR EMBASSY POLICY

EMBASSY POLICY


A region wishing to construct and maintain an in-game regional embassy must meet the following criteria as decided by the government of Blackstar. Any region, in any point in time that breaks this policy, will willingly forfeit their embassy with Blackstar. Any and all exceptions to these guidelines shall be made by the government.

  1. Have an population of at least 15 nations, also atleast 5 of the total population must have a WA tag.

    1. Exemptions may be made for interregional alliance headquarter regions.

    2. Exemptions for alliance military bases.

  2. Must not have regional tags for:

    1. Invader

    2. Anti-World Assembly

    3. Anti-General Assembly

  3. Must not support, in any way, the practice of raiding or imperialism

    1. May not have embassies with known raider regions.

  4. Must not be condemned by the Security Council of the World Assembly

  5. Must not be an "Embassy Collector"

    1. Embassy Collector is defined as "a region with a policy of obtaining as many embassies as possible."

  6. Regions that had democratic election will be more preferred

    1. Exemptions shall be made for regions that were liberated 5 months prior and show stabilization enough for democratic governance to return.

  7. Must condemn hatred of any kind, including discrimination.

    1. Discrimination is defined as “the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.”

  8. Must not be a declared threat nor an adversary to the region and its democratic system of governance by the government of the Blackstar

    1. The generous application of “enemy” shall be interpreted by the government.

  9. Must continuously promote foreign policy and maintain foreign relations with the region.

All embassy requests must be sent to our Foreign Minister, Romoan.
