Welcome to Lone Wolves United!

Hello there! If you are reading this, you are presumably a new recruit to Lone Wolves United, and looking to start raiding with us. In this dispatch, we will attempt to answer some basic questions about raiding and Lone Wolves United, as well as how to get started on your path as a raider.

Getting started

The first step is to move a nation to Lone Wolves United. Having done so, the next step is to join our Linkdiscord and follow the instructions there to register on our Linkforums. Simply follow the instructions on discord and you should be good to go - if anything is unclear, feel free to approach an officer with any questions you may have. In addition, feel free to introduce yourself on our Regional Message Board.

If you do not have discord or cannot create an account on discord, you are still very much welcome to participate. In that case, the process is somewhat different. First, you join the World Assembly by making sure you have a valid email address in your nation's settings. After that, go to the World Assembly page and click "Apply to join", then go to your mail. Within a few minutes, a confirmation email should arrive. Open it, click the confirmation link, and then click the button to confirm. Now that you've joined the World Assembly, you can start raiding.

What is raiding?

Raiding, also called crashing or invading, is the act of taking over a region. It works roughly like this: every region has two officer positions by default, a founder and a World Assembly Delegate. In most regions, the founder has complete control over the region - however, in some regions this is not the case, usually because the founder has been deleted for inactivity or rulebreaking. In those cases, the World Assembly delegate inherits the power of the founder. Unlike the founder, however, the Delegate is elected by other World Assembly nations. What we do is get one of our own nations elected as delegate in a region without a founder. Afterwards, we can do with the region what we want, changing the flag and the World Factbook Entry and banning those who would try to take the region from us.

A more detailed guide can be found on our forums once you've registered and applied to join.

Following military orders

Delegates are elected twice a day at 12am and 12pm EST during what is called an update. It is during updates that we must move in and get our own nation elected as delegate, often in a matter of seconds, as defenders would attempt to stop the invasion should they take notice. Raids during update are coordinated through our discord. However, after the region has been taken defenders will attempt to take it back from us. To prevent them from succeeding, the delegate must ban as many defenders as they can, but they cannot do this without sufficient endorsements. Therefore we need reinforcements to keep the region. As a result, we will send a telegram and post on the Regional Message Board to notify our non-discord users of an operation. These will usually look like this:

1) Join the World Assembly by going to the World Assembly page and clicking "Apply to join". Afterwards, go to your email and click the confirmation link. If you are already in the World Assembly, you may skip this.
2) Move to a region (the specific region will be linked here). This can be done by scrolling down a bit and clicking the "Move <nation> to <region>" button.
3) Endorse a nation (the specific nation will be linked here). This can be done by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking the "Endorse <nation>" button. Sometimes, you will be asked to endorse multiple nations at the same time - simply repeat the process on each of the nation linked and you should be fine, as there is no limit to the number of nations you can endorse.
4) Telegram a nation (the specific nation will be linked here) to say you followed orders. This ensures we can notify you when the operation has concluded and you can return to Lone Wolves United.

Remember to stay in the target region until the operation has concluded. Remember that you can never have more than one nation in the World Assembly, as well.

If you have any remaining questions, feel free to send a telegram to A Bloodred Moon or another officer, and we will get back to you ASAP.
