The Royal Yacht, HMY Cervidae is the official yacht of the Cambrian monarchy. The yacht is used for state functions, official business, and for private travels of the Monarch and guests. On certain occasions, the crew is supplemented by staff from the Royal Household when appropriate. The yacht is 73.15 m motor yacht, with a top speed of 16 kn, a range of +/- 6,000 nm, a crew of 22, and with 6 guest cabins. The yacht is moored in the Staghaven Royal Marina and undertakes many voyages during the year as well as hosting functions . Additionally, the yacht has been used for scientific research, emergency assistance, and training. The yacht has circumnavigated the globe as well as voyaged to Antarctica as part of the Royal Cambrian Scientific Mission there. While the yacht is the property of the state, the monarch has authority to order the movement of the ship, except in cases where international law applies to the governance of the ship's actions (i.e. lifesaving at sea, etc.). HMY Cervidae is the official name of all of HM Yachts, as they are retired and a new vessel commissioned in it's stead; the current HMY Cervidae was commissioned in 2010.
