ELECTIONS HAVE BEEN FINISHED!

The Results of the Local Election have come in,and They are not very suprising:

About 46% were won by the Greater Romania Party,which shows that they are popular
About 1% were won by the The Romanian Peoples Ceausescist Party
About 4% were won by the New Right Party
About 4% were won by the Christian Democratic New Generation Party
About 23% were won by the Social Democratic Party
About 11% were won by the Christian Democratic National Peasants Party
About 4% were won by the Green Party
About 3% were won by the People's Movement Party
About 1% Was Won By The National Liberal Party
About 1% was won by the The Liberal-Democratic Front of National Salvation
About 1% was won by the Union Save Romania Party
The Rest 1% is split between the other parties

This shows that,indeed,The Nationalist Parties,alongside the Social Democrats,dominate National Politics

RESULTS OF THE NATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS

About 51% Were won by the Greater Romania Party
About 3% were won by the New Right Party
About 3% were won the Christian Democratic New Generation Party
About 3% were won by the Green Party
About 18% were won by the Social Democratic Party
About 8% were won by the Christian Democratic National Peasants Party
About 3% were won by the People's Movement Party
About 3% were won by the National Liberal Party
About 3% were won by the Union Save Romania Party
About 3% were won by the Liberal-Democratic Front of National Salvation
The Rest 2% are split between the Smaller Parties that couldn't get into Parliament,like the Romanian Peoples Ceausescist Party

The Greater Romania Party,New Right Party,Christian Democratic New Generation Party,Green Party and the Social Democratic Party will still be in a coalition,just as before,the only difference is that PM Ponta will be replaced with Victor Teodor Iovici,a Member of the Greater Romania Party. Greater Romania Party will also occupy 12 Ministry positions,with the Social Democrats having 5 and the other 3 being given like this: 1 to every other member of coalition.

PM Ponta will be made Vice-PM in order to appese the Social Democrats Though.

Due to The Failures in these Election,Dan Barna and the Liberal-Wing of the Union Save Romania Party has ceded its leadership to Nicusor Dan and his conservative wing,which will bring them closer to the mainstream of Romanian Politics (opposing gay marriage,pro life etc)

Klaus Iohannis has also resigned from his leadership position,and will be replaced by Ludovic Orban. Klaus Iohannis will still be an important party leader though.

Theodor "Toader" Paleologu will keep his leadership position in the People's Movement party,despite the poor results.
