The George Reddington School for the Arts

The George Reddington School for the Arts is a prestigious school located in Dartham, it was sponsored by The Empire of Beldemark. The school has majors for Art, Music, Drama, and Movie Making. The campus is 50 acres and is split into three sections, the facilities section, the education section and the arts section.

The facilities section: In the facilities section of the campus there is the Woomsworth building, where all the teachers offices are, the grounds keeping building, the administrative building, where all the administrators office’s are, Holmston Hall, which is the cafeteria, and all of the different dorms. This section is the closest section to the road and also the closest to the restaurants and bars and stores on the other side of the road.

The education section: The education section of the university is the most hated section by all the students, it has all the general education buildings like the J.K. Rowling building, where English is taught, the Archimedes building, where math is taught, the Turing building, where science is taught, and the Herodotus building, where history is taught. The Greta library is also in this section as well as other study areas, the gymnasium is in this section as well as the computer lab, but all students are issued a laptop, so it is not used often.

The arts section: This section is the reason that the students come here, for the Art students there is a sculpting room, and a painting room, with all the necessary tools and more, there is a pottery room, and an art gallery of paintings and sculptures from both students, and international artists and sculptors. To go along with all of these amenities, there are world class art teachers to shape the creativity of these young minds into something they themselves could never imagine. For the Drama students, there is an indoor auditorium that can fit 525 people, as well as having a stage with all the amenities they need, easy close and open curtains, props, costumes, ladders, and backgrounds, there is also an outdoor amphitheater designed by a world renowned architect. To go along with these places of performance, they have silver screen and broadway actors to teach them the ways of drama. The Music students use the same theater that the Drama students use but have teachers that have played music since they were a little child, and composers that have composed all types of music. They have access to recording studios, all musical instruments, private lessons, classes on the history of music and an ability to express their musical talent in ways other schools would never allow. The students that choose the Movie Making major get to work with the best directors and producers in the world and read the biographies of those directors and producers that aren’t here anymore, they have access to the best cameras and camera add-ons as well as writing inspiration so they can write some of the best films and plays. The final project for the Movie Making seniors is to write a play or movie, and the best one will be picked, then that play will be performed by the Drama students, which is their final project, and the music will be provided by the Music students, which is their final project, and the costumes, and backgrounds will be made by the Art students, which is their final project

The school can hold 10,000 students total which is 2,500 students per grade, we get about 60,000 applications each year, which means we have about a 16% acceptance rate. George Reddington was a very famous artist in Nacoa Dyan in the 60s, but has since passed, before he passed though, he founded this university for the advancement of the arts and culture in Nacoa Dya. Many world renown artists, musicians, producers, directors and actors have graduated from this school and still donate money back here so we can better the educational experience for the students.
