The Democratish Republic of Persia (Persish: Jomhuri-ye Demokrātik-e Irān), gemeanly known as Persia and seldom as Iran (Persish: Irān), is a land in the Near East. Homeland to one of the oldest riches in mennish gesheede, Persia stood as one of the Near East's weightier lands. Now, Persia often drags a yoke on her lesser neighbours, and has been doing so since the 19th yearhundred. She is made up of 10 provinces, or "ostān" in Persish.

Regering

Persia is a onehoodstate presidential republic. Her leader is the President (Persish: Raisjomhur), as of now, Bijan Mustafa'i, a businessman, former general, and head of the Persish National Party. He is both stateshead and regeringshead of Persia, and has the befayness to bode crig, make frith, break up the gemoot, and overrule laws made by the gemoot; he is also the Overcommander of the Stridecrafts. He is chosen through wale, has a bounded ambstime of 5 years, and can be withgewaled as many times as the Persish folk want, though the freeness and fairness of these wales are in fraign.

Persia's lawmaking body is the Pārlemān, which is overset in English as the "Gemoot". A twosplit gemoot, its two houses are the Senate (Persish: Senā) and the Nationalforsamling (Persish: Šūrā-ye Melli). Its work is to make laws for Persia, or take them away if need be. It can also bode crig and make frith, as well as have the last say as to where the regeringsbudget goes. It is headed by the Prime Minister (Persish: Noxost Vazīr), who is benamed by the President from a set of bewharvers—wontedly, but not always, coming from the senate—given by the Gemoot.

Persish is the ambsspeech of Persia. Small ontales of folk can speak Turkish, Arabish, and Kurdish.

Gesheede

The Persish folk that live in the lands called Persia are said to have come to the land by around 1000 BC. Ruled first by Assyria and then Babylonia, the Persish stemms drove away their fremd overlords and made their own kingdom, Mederne. Caser Cyrus II "the Great" would overthrow Mederne and become mayhaps the third greatest ruler Persia had seen. Around this time, one of the oldest beliefs in the world, Zoroastrism, would be grounded; it still stands today as one of Persia's weighty lesserhood beliefs. Going westward, Persia would come against the Greekish, and for a time lord over some of them before being utterly crushed by Macedonia under Alexander the Great, the one greatest ruler Persia will ever have.

When Alexander died, one of his generals, Seleucus, took over his Persish lands, before being overthrown by Parthia. Parthia would find a foe greater than herself in the west, Rome, winning some fights and losing most. Parthia would be kicked out and taken over by Sassania, which would once again find herself fighting against Rome, and later, Byzantium. However, a new foe would rise from the waste of Arabia, the Mahometish Caliphdom. They would sweep all across the Near East, ending the Sassanish Riche, and thwanging the Persers to turn over to their barbarish belief, though strongholds of Zoroastriers would be hiding in the berghs up until the 19th yearhundred, free from the Mahometish yoke.

More foes would come, this time from the east, the Mongolish Horde of Genghis Khan, leaving more than 15 million dead in their wake. The Ilkhanric was the Mongolish nighfollowerstate that ruled over the Persish lands; its rulers kept their Mongolish speech and belief, the folk of Persia kept theirs as well. The Ilkhanric shattered owing to uprisings and the last Ilkhan, Bahadur, dying without any erves. Some yeartens later, a Turk-Mongol named Tamerlane would come to rule over Persia and the lands around it, grounding the Tamerlanish Riche and becoming the twithe greatest Persish ruler. After Tamerlane, Persia would fall slowly, losing land to crigs against her neighbours—and later, the Russish—and slowly being shaped into the marks she has today. By the late 1800s, Persia would come to take on Western technology and thought with the help of Frankric and Russland.

Persia would not pick a side in the First Worldcrig. In the early 20th yearhundred, the Caser Reza would bring about even greater forotherings in Persia, leaving behind old havthes for new ways. He did away with Arabscript and had the Persish speech within his lands be written in the Latinish Alphabet, and also withstrained the inflow of the Mahometish priesthood, even becoming a Zoroastrier later in his life. Though neutral in the Twithe Worldcrig, Persia was nevertheless overfallen by the USSR in 1943 for her oil—Persia gave little withstand and the Caser was overthrown and hanged. A communistish regering was set up by the Soviets with the help of Persish revolutionnaires which would last until 1992, when Persia mostly frithsomely awended her groundlaw. Since 1943, she has stuck close to the USSR, and when it fell, to Russland; the two lands are allies to this day.

Befolking

Persia has always been a sort of "crossroads" between cultures, sitting within the orold Silk Road as a weighty gateway into Asia. Persers themselves are an Indish-Europish leedgroup, akin to the Inders to Persia's straightforward East.

Persers make up the morehood in their own land, 63.1% of Persia's befolking to be nauw. Azeriers are the twithe biggest leedgroup, making up a little over 11.3%. Kurds make up 10.7%, Turkmeniers 4.6%, Turks 1.7%, Bactriers 1.3%, Saracens 1.2%, Joeds 1.0%, Armeniers 0.9%, Sogdiers 0.8%, Russers 0.8%, and Georgiers 0.6%. The last 2.0% are manifold "others". Owing to the former communistish regering's laws against religion, 55.1% of Persers believe not in gods and the like. Mahometism is still the biggest "sooth" belief, with 24.6% of the befolking being Mahometists, mainly under the Alistish sect. Zoroastrism—the inhomish religion of Persia worshipping the god Horomazes grounded around 4,000 years ago by the prophet Zoroastres, after whom it is named—rose tenfold from its grete 200 years ago and now grips 12.2% of the befolking. A good 5.0% of the befolking are under Christendom, mostly of the Eastern Churches. The last 3.1% believe in "other" beliefs, mostly Steppe Shamanism and Joedendom.

Like most of her neighbours, Persia's befolking has been seeing a steady growth in the turn of the 21st Yearhundred. This growthrate sits at a full 1.0% yearly, and Persish women see a fruitfulhoodrate of 2.84 babies each. The middler eld of the befolking is around 34.4 years, while the mean lifespan is 68.5 years. A little over 89.0% of the befolking can read and write, those who could not mainly living in Persia's many hard-to-reach wastelands and berghs. The gekindforhalfness is 0.92 Persish women for every Persish man.

Werthsip

Persia has a mixed werthship. Persia's micklest industry is oil, and Persia stands as one of the world's foremost sellers of this "black gold". Though, with the steady fall of the frayne and thus worth of oil in the 21st yearhundred, Persia has turned to sightseeing and herestelling. Persia also has rising business and trade sectors, with the headstead Teheran as her hub. Among the Near East's micklest, she stands beside the werthships of Turkland and Joedland. Some known Persish geselships are Iran Xodro, Saipa Group, SAP – Persish Loftways, National Bank of Persia, Société Pétrolière et Minière Shahzad, and Mustafa'i Industries.

Her GIP by head is middle-of-the-line. Some groundthensts are free for her burghers. Quality of life is mostly better than her lesser neighbours, but not much to live for either.

Military

The Arteš, or Stridecrafts in English, is Persia's military, overseen by the Fordeithingsministry (Persish: Vezārat-e Defā'). It is split into five thenst boughs: the Heere (Persish: Nīrū-ye Zamini), Marine (Persish: Nīrū-ye Daryayi), Loftmight (Persish: Nīrū-ye Havāyi), Gendarmery (Persish: Žāndārmeri), and the Red Guards (Persish: Gārd-e Sorx). It has 398,110 soldiers under thenst, as well as 18,000 reservists and around 121,000 policemen under the gendarmery. Persia has forplightly military thenst; men and women are to be soldiers for 1½ years once they turn 18. Persia spent $35.58 milliard on her military in 2022, 3.8% of her GIP.
