A TREATY BETWEEN THE EMPIRE OF NEW SISTONIA AND THE MOST SERENE REPUBLIC OF CYMIOPOLIS

The Emperor of the Empire of New Sistonia and the Doge Andreas Mavrokordatos of the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis in the name of the Cymiopolitan people, in consequence of the treaty of cession of Evfrippe IVa which has been Signed this day; shall bind both governments to the following articles to regulate the cession of Said cession to that of the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis, have agreed to the following articles:

The Government of the Most Serence Republic of Cymiopolis engages to pay to the New Sistonian government in the manner Specified in the previous article the sum of One Hundred and Sixty Six trillion New Sistonian Credits.

For the payment of the Sum of One Hundred and Sixty Six trillion of New Sistonian Credits mentioned in the preceding article the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis shall adhere to the agreed rate that the Panamero of the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis in the present Convention shall be fixed at one and twelve hundredths New Sistonian Credits.

The Government of the Empire of New Sistonia shall adhere to the sovereign claim of the cession by the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis upon signature by both parties and shall define the sovereign territory of the cession to extend to the greatest extent of the Exobase and shall not infringe upon the sovereign territory of said cession unless at the request of the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis.
The Government of the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis shall adhere to the soverign claim of the Evfrippe System by the Empire of New Sistonia upon signature by both parties and shall adhere to all commerce and security laws of the territories aside from the cession and shall not infringe upon the laws unless if said laws restrict the defense of or commerce of the cession.
The Governments of the Empire of New Sistonia and the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis shall adhere to not infringe the other on matters of harboring criminals of the other sovereign nation.

The Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis shall adhere to the following maritime laws laid forth by the Empire of New Sistonia as Specified in the previous article.
The Empire of New Sistonia shall retain the right to a random search of cargo of any vessel of the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis except for those of dignitaries that will waive the right to a search but shall be required to submit a copy of their manifest upon request by a military vessel of the Empire of New Sistonia.
The Empire of New Sistonia shall retain the right to hold cargo of individuals under charter by the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis if found in violation of piracy, smuggling, transportation of contraband, or if said individual has outstanding bounties for up to Thirty days before returning said goods to a port authority of the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis unless said goods violate the Empire of New Sistonia maritime laws whereas said goods shall be destroyed.
The Empire of New Sistonia shall retain the right of defending sovereign territory at all times and may patrol outside of the cession and sovereign territory and may not place a blockade around the cession for any reason unless a formal declaration of war has been approved.

The Empire of New Sistonia shall adhere to the following maritime laws laid forth by the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis as Specified in Article III.
The Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis shall retain the right to a random serarch of cargo of any vessel of the Empire of New Sistonia in the soverign territory of the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis except for those of dignitaries that will waive the right to a search but shall be required to submit a copy of their manifest upon request by a military vessel of the Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis.
The Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis shall retain the right to hold cargo of individuals under charter by the Empire of New Sistonia if found in violation of piracy, smuggling, transportation of contraband, or if said individual has outstanding bounties for up to Thirty days before returning said goods to a port authority of the Empire of New Sistonia unless said goods violate the Most Serene Republic Of Cymiopolis's maritime laws whereas said goods shall be destroyed.
The Most Serene Republic of Cymiopolis shall retain the right of defending sovereign territory at all times and may patrol outside of the cession and sovereign territory by special request to the government of the Empire of New Sistonia and may not leave freely unless a formal declaration of war has been approved.
In faith of which the respective bodies have Signed the above articles both in the Greek and English languages, declaring nevertheless that the present treaty has been originally agreed on and written in the Greek language; to which they have hereunto affixed their Seals.
