Firstly, let me state that this election is for a general council member position, the position of Prime Minister honestly didn't hold any special responsibilities or special access, it was just a name. This is why we'd rather not mislead anyone interested and we'd rather just say that this election is for the position of council member. How do I run? Running is easy cheese! To run, either telegram me, Union of Dimonian Socialist Republics, or DM me on Discord! You need to:
-be a citizen of the region, of course
-be on the Discord (If you win this'll make communication between council members easier)
-have been in the region for at least a week
-extra points if you're on the api list
If you do not fit these requirements and still wish to run, still feel free to DM me so we can process your request more in depth! How do I vote? Voter registration is pretty easy cheese too! To register to vote all you need to do is reside in the region and be a WA member. This is to make sure puppets don't vote, and so that no silly lonely Eastern Europeans try to hijack the electoral process, as if that'd ever happen lol. If any gerrymandering is suspected, though, the winner would undoubtedly have to be disqualified and the runner up will get the position. As for where the election will be held, as in on what platform, well, that's still to be determined, but I like your eagerness to get involved- you've got spunk, kid!

I'll be real with you, Democratika, if at least two people do not run in this upcoming election it will mean some really bad things. It will mean that democracy, at least for the time being, will die in The Democratika, it will mean the council will be a closed system of officers who'll be able to do things without having to answer to the people, not ask for feedback. I understand that most people in the region, me included, certainly don't want to see a secret police, a creeping spy network across NS, or suppression of free speech, but this is exactly what this could lead to. So, please telegram me or DM me on Discord if you're interested in running for the council position as well as to register to vote!

Other News:

Recently the Discord had seen a quick return and then ultimate exile of Urrangslan, an old friend of The Democratika and bouncing baby boy poster child, as his hearing over accusations of high treason were found to actually be true. The plump man in question had difficulty answering the council's questions and at the end accidentally given himself away. Though the details of the hearing are still considered sensitive information, what can be said is that the citizen in question was found to have access to documents within the highest facets of the region. The documents in question were a series of fakes and discontinued programs which hold no true substance apart from the hopes and dreams of some government aides to get over their butthurt attitude toward an old enemy of the region. However, this is not where the story ends. Very soon after urran's departure, a greasy Auralian janitor whipped out their Hello Kitty flute and started playing an angry Romanian song of anger at the Minister of Communications on The United Ascendancy's Discord, in a thick Gypsy accent. Somehow, the region outlined in the fake and invalid documents had gotten ahold of them, and went on to banject their own members out of sweaty tanky rage. Now, it is suspected that not only has Urran become a high ranking officer of an enemy region, but he is also in charge of establishing a spy network within The Democratika, so keep an eye out for abnormally toeless vexillology enthusiasts!

These are quite the hot tamales, a tell you hwat! The first round of polling has ended and we're now on what I assume the last. With the feedback we're getting from the region we're restructuring accordingly! I, for one, will be very sad if we don't see any nuclear stand offs this time around. Remember: every Democratikan RP gamer must RP with a glass of orange juice alongside their traditional gamer dinosaur porridge, anyone found not upholding this tradition will be maliciously tickled in the rear.

The Google Stadia is supposed to be the future of consoles. A small, cheap, object which connects you to google's servers to allow for smooth gameplay of any game on any device. However, the lack of hype around it suggests that nobody wants it, that's almost fewer than the Auralian Discord which sees it mods on other regions' Discords more often, essentially negative population!
