What is this?
Naturally, we want to know more about how the card market is doing. For this, we decided to start keeping track of a few numbers and make some graphs. We also decided to make these available to everyone, in case others find this data interesting as well.
Below we include a few graphs (you can click on the images to be taken to interactive versions of the same graphs). You can also use the following resources, which have data starting from June 3rd, 2019:
For any comments, including requests for additional data and graphs, please contact Minister of Culture Prydania.
The following graphs show how many trades take place each day. They also break down the total trades along various categories, such as rarity of traded card and auction versus gift.
The following graph shows how much money changes hands each day. The graph also breaks down the total volume per card rarity.
Legendary market value
The following graph shows the total market value of all 184 legendary cards available in Season 1.
The following graphs show the number of unique nations involved in card trading, including break downs with respect to type of trade (auction or gift) and role (seller or buyer).
Number of cards and card odds
The following graphs show the number of cards that can normally appear in packs, that is, cards that belong to nations that have not ceased-to-exist. The graphs show both total and per-rarity-category counts, as well as the odds that a card in an opened pack will be in each of the rarity categories. Note that all "pullable" cards have the same odds of appearing in a pack, regardless of rarity. The odds are for each entire rarity category.
