The Constitution of the NationStates Democratic Federation
Seeing that the Nationstates Democratic Federation needs a stable and organized government, a Constitution has been created to help mold this region into one with a democratic governance that represents the people. This region should have a balance of powers so not one person can become too much powerful, and the government may stay small. The aim of this system is to create one which will also allow this region to grow and flourish as it becomes greater. Although this system might not last forever, this Constitution was created to be one which aims for perfection, that even if it does not achieve it, it still shapes this region greatly and its spirit may carry on.
I. The President shall be elected once every month, with elections beginning the 1st of every month
II. The President shall have Appearance, Border Control, Communications, Embassies, and Polls permissions
III. The President is to represent the region
IV. The President shall use their power to improve and maintain the region so that it may prosper under them.
V. The President shall appoint a Vice-President to help them carry out some of their duties
The Vice President shall have Appearance, Border Control, and Communications permissions
The Vice President is to assist the President in carrying out their duties in any way possible.
The President may delegate other duties to the Vice-President if he so wishes
VI. The President has the authority to enter and leave direct alliances with other regions.
VII. The President may also appoint other nations to positions of power, with approval from the Senate.
VIII. Once a president leaves office, members of their administration that they had appointed will be dismissed also.
I. The position of Prime Minister shall be elected once every Month, with elections beginning the 15th of every month
II. The Prime Minister shall have Appearance, Communications, and Embassies Permissions
III. The Prime Minister shall oversee other Ministers to ensure they do their job properly, as well as otherwise assisting to run the region.
IV. The position of Minister of the Interior shall be elected once every Month, with elections beginning after elections for Prime Minister.
V. The Minister of the Interior shall have Appearance, Communications, and Polls Permissions
VI. The Minister of the Interior is to maintain order in the region, and to make sure things run smoothly.
VII. The Minister of Foreign Affairs is to be elected one every month, with elections beginning after elections for Minister of the Interior.
VIII. The Minister of Foreign Affairs shall have Communications, Embassies, and Polls permissions
I. The Senate shall consist of all ministers
II. Nations appointed to positions to the President may also be part of the Senate, if being a Senate member is a part of that position
III. The Senate may meet to vote on laws, and a law will pass with a majority vote from the Senate.

if a proposed piece of legislation gets 2 or more backers, the Senate is forced to vote on it. This number should change through amendments over time to reflect changes in population.
IV. The Senate also has the authority to enter and leave interregional alliances and organizations.
V. While the President is not a member of the Senate, the President may still be present at Senate meetings, but is unable to vote.
VI. The President is able to veto a law passed by the senate. A veto can be overturned with a 2/3 majority vote from the Senate.
I. For the Founder to appoint someone to a position of power in which said appointee would be a member of the Senate, they must go through the same process as the President and get approval from the Senate.
II. The Founder and Delegate must listen to and follow the will of the people within reason, as this is a democratic region
III. The Delegate of the region shall be whoever has the most endorsements, and may hold another elected position
IV. The World Assembly Delegate shall not be executive, and only have World Assembly permissions
V. The Founder must abide by all laws, and cannot unilaterally change laws.

Absolutely no advertising on the RMB unless you have previously been given permission to do so

II. Embassy Laws
Be civil in the RMB’s of embassy regions
Represent the NSDF well in embassy regions when visiting their RMB
Do not violate RMB rules of embassy regions when visiting their RMB
III. Election Laws
Elections shall begin with a 2 day poll registering to run for (a) certain postition(s)
Registration for minister runs will all be 1 poll
Next, Elections will be a 2 day poll with all candidates
If A candidate wins with less than 50% of the vote, a new poll shall be called with some of the previous candidates, but only candidates that were somewhat close to the candidate with the plurality of the votes
This poll shall also last 2 days
Each resident is allowed one vote. Fraudulent votes from those attempting to use puppets to vote multiple times will result in none of said puppet votes being counted, as well as the main nation’s vote being discounted as well.
This also applies to any other kind of official poll
Polls for elections should be set to native resident voting
IV. Other Laws
Elected officials may not hold more than one office
Any attempts to destabilize or overthrow the region are considered treason and will be punished.
A vote of no confidence may be held for any elected official
For a vote to be called, 1/3 of the region must support holding it
The poll shall last two days
To remove an official, a 75% vote in favor of removal is needed
If said official is removed, a snap election shall be called to replace them. The official previously removed is able to run again if they wish
I. For an amendment to be voted on, it must be backed by 2 People. This number should change through amendments over time to reflect change in population
II. Once an amendment gets enough support, a poll will be called in which members of the region will vote.
III. In order for an amendment to pass, it must get a 2/3 majority
