Constitution of Norrland

Preamble
1. Norrland is a Nordic-themed region that welcomes all nations, irrespective of their ethnicities, nationalities, spiritual beliefs, genders, sexual orientations or political beliefs.

2. All residents of Norrland may apply for citizenship via an application form after staying in the region for more than 7 days. In addition, the government reserves the right to grant citizenship.

3. All citizens of Norrland have the right to vote and run for elections, freedom of speech and other miscellaneous freedoms. This is subject to compliance with the regional rules.

4. For the purpose of simplicity, English shall be used as the official working language of the regional government, although residents are free to converse in other languages.

Government
1. The Founder, Stockgrove, shall hold Executive authority in the region.

2. The President shall act as the head of the regional government. The office holder has the authority to appoint new regional officers via the Founder. The President is elected every 3 months, or if the incumbent resigns from their post.

3. Any citizen may petition for a government official, including the President, to be removed if they are abusing their positions. If more than 3 citizens second the petition, the government has to create a referendum on the official’s removal. If a simple majority of the region votes to remove the official, a new one will be appointed or elected, whichever applies. Anyone who is removed from office may not serve in the government for 5 months.
