Keeping up with the Si-topians: The Symbiotes

Overview
Keeping up with the Si-topians: The Symbiotes is the first movie based on the hit series Keeping up with the Si-topians. It differs from many of the episodes in that the secondary character (the primary character after the foxes) is Midand, not Si-topia, a change which allows it to focus more on action and less on relationships in order for largest ticket sales. The primary plot revolves around the foxes' struggle to combat the malevolent symbiotes that Midand releases against them. The movie provides insight into the nature of Astro's floof-related powers and the fate of The anti-solar system scope. Although it was filmed by Midand Studios, much of the funding for the filming came from Volaworand, where Keeping up with the Si-topians is especially popular, due to the Midand bailout program.

Characters
Major Characters

  • Astro (played by The Solar System Scope): The leader of the Floofy Skulk, Astro is originally the sole host of Floof. This, the fact that he is the original fox (causing him to receive more affection from Si), and other inequalities occasionally draw jealousy from the other skulk members.

  • Sirius (played by The Solar System Scope and Techolandia): The second-most senior fox, Sirius serves as the leader of the Floofy Skulk when Astro is captured. For much of the movie, he simultaneously tries to convince the other foxes to accept Astro's leadership and tries to convince Astro to listen to the other foxes and make the skulk more equal.

  • Floof (played by The Solar System Scope and Techolandia): A benevolent symbiote, Floof has an extreme aversion to killing even those whom he recognizes as enemies—a weakness which comes back to haunt him. The movie begins with Astro as his sole host, but early on, Claws forces him to rely on the skulk as a whole instead. Floof is the one who provides Astro and the other foxes with their floofy powers.

  • Midand (played by Midand): Primarily evil with a grudge against Si, Midand is the primary antagonist for most of the movie, but he eventually changes his ways, at least temporarily, after the symbiotes that he unleashes fail to show him any sympathy. He sacrifices his memories in order to defeat Chaos.

  • Claws (played by The Solar System Scope, Techolandia, and Midand): The first symbiote that Midand unleashes, Claws originally possesses Astro until he is driven out by Floof with the help of Astro and the other foxes, after which he possesses The Anti-Fox and intermittently schemes against Astro and the Floofy Skulk, once briefly kidnapping Astro until the other foxes rescue him. Near the end of the movie, he helps Floof fight Chaos, who threatens both of their existence.

  • Chaos (played by Hail fenaudhrreidhyr): The last and most powerful symbiote that Midand unleashes, Chaos seeks to return the entire universe to its primordial form. He is only defeated when the benevolent and malevolent symbiotes ally in order to defend their own existence.

  • The Floofy Skulk (played by The Solar System Scope and Techolandia): The group host of Floof for most of the movie, the members of the Floofy Skulk do not enjoy much individual camera time but receive much of the focus as a group.

Minor Characters

  • Wyver (played by The coldwyvernian undead): The permanent host of Cognitive Dissonance, this nation also runs a museum from which he is able to lend other characters artifacts in order to help them, including the artifact that is used to erase Midand's memories.

  • Cognitive Dissonance (played by Techolandia and The coldwyvernian undead): This symbiote uses Wyver as his host but often influences other characters. Not immune to himself, he mostly affects malevolent symbiotes, even though he is a malevolent symbiote himself, and forces them to do actions that are contrary to their goals, which he derives humor from.

  • Si (played by Si-topia): The wife of Astro even before he because a skulk, she feeds and houses the foxes, as well as cuddling them and giving them medical attention when necessary. She especially loves Astro, causing the other foxes to be jealous of him.

  • Han (played by Hanguk-Nippon): The character creates and tests various weapons, including one which the characters (unsuccessfully) try to use to defeat Chaos.

  • Mad Dog (played by Midand, Techolandia, and East lodge): The second symbiote that Midand unleashes, Mad Dog originally possesses Midand but later decides to possess Concrete Slab, which he is only able to do for a short time before being captured and detained by East Lodge with the help of Steel Beam.

  • Concrete Slab (played by Concrete Slab): A cyborg that can transform into a dog, this character has a romantic relationship with East Lodge and is briefly possessed by Mad Dog against his will.

  • East Lodge (played by East lodge): A robot that can transform into a dog, this character has a romantic relationship with Concrete Slab and, with the help of Steel Beam, captures and detains Mad Dog after he briefly possesses Concrete Slab against his will, freeing Concrete Slab.

  • Steel Beam (played by Techolandia): This character serves as Concrete Slab's sidekick and likes to knock people out by falling on them.

  • Kyle (played by New Haudenosaunee Confederacy): A genius at coding and chemistry, Kyle creates several new gadgets and artifacts that Wyver puts in his museum. Throughout the movie, he repeatedly tries to woo Si but is unsuccessful each time.

  • Asclepius (played by The Solar System Scope and Techolandia): Asclepius is the benevolent symbiote of health and healing. The Reviv-o-matic and Heal-o-matic, which Kyle manages to combine into one midway through the movie, work because he possesses them.

  • The Anti-Fox (played by The Solar System Scope, sometimes through The anti-solar system scope): Formed earlier from a misuse of the Reviv-o-matic, this character serves as the host of Claws after he is expelled from The Solar System Scope. He is killed by Chaos just before Chaos is defeated.

  • Techolandia (played by Techolandia): A relative of Si who lives in her palace, he always feel obligated to help her and the foxes whenever they need help.

Plot
The movie starts with Midand kidnapping Astro, torturing him, then possessing him with Claws. Claws takes Floof by surprise and evicts him, making Astro a murderous servant of Midand while Floof takes refuge in the other foxes. After Astro kills an unnamed bystander, Midand has him kill Si-topia. However, just before Astro is able to start attacking her, Floof returns and fights Claws for control of Astro. Meanwhile, Han, angry that Midand caused Astro to be possessed, kills Midand with has prototype weapons. After a lengthy struggle, during which he enlists the help of Astro and the other foxes, Floof evicts Claws from Astro. While Si cherishes the fact that Astro is okay and Floof decides to use the entire skulk as a host, turning the skulk into the Floofy Skulk, Claws finds and possesses The Anti-Fox.
Midand's ghost infiltrates The Life Foundation and releases Mad Dog, whom Midand's ghost leads to his body. Mad Dog, upon arriving at Midand's mangled body, possesses it, heals it, and turns it into a dog. However, Mad Dog decides to take the body all for himself, forcing Midand to remain a ghost. Uninfluenced by Midand's specific hatred of Si-topia and love of torturing the foxes, Mad Dog attacks the first individuals that he sees, who happen to be East Lodge and Concrete Slab. Upon realizing that Concrete Slab and East Lodge have dog forms and powerful weapons, Mad Dog decides to abandon Midand's body, which Midand's ghost reclaims, in order to possess Concrete Slab and attack East Lodge. However, East Lodge, which the help of Steel Beam, is able to extract and detain Mad Dog, after which Concrete Slab reverts to his old self.
In an effort to get revenge on Floof, Claws kidnaps Astro and puts him in a cage, where Astro repents and promises to treat the other foxes equally if he makes it out of the cage alive. Just before Claws is about to possess Astro again, the other foxes find Claws's hiding place, which they are able to do by following the one twenty-sixth of Floof that is possessing Astro, rescue Astro, and escape with the help of their Floofy powers. Astro, happy to be rescued from Claws and reunited with his fellow foxes, makes good on his promise to treat the other foxes equally.

More information about the conflict will be provided here. Midand releases Chaos, who immediately turns against Midand, against killing him.
