Ismite Military Vehicles: Aircraft

The Ismite Airforce is an incredibly advanced and powerful, feared and respected across the world. Scientists and engineers in Ism are constantly pushing the boundaries of current knowledge, developing faster, stronger and fiercer aircraft for use in Ism's defense. The following is a list of aircraft currently used in the Ismite Airforce.

The Viking
The Viking is the mainline aircraft for the Ismite Airforce. Capable of traveling at speeds well beyond supersonic the Viking is highly maneuverable and well armored. with 80 centimeters of neosteel armor. The Viking is heavily armed, with a large payload of short-bolt missiles, designed for anti-air assaults but are suitable for ground assaults too. The Viking has multiple flare banks, as well as a rotating laser cannon, capable of destroying missiles and even enemy aircraft, in proper weather conditions. The Viking is about 2.5 meters long, 2 meters wide and 3 meters high.

The Banshee
The Banshee is a powerful multi-role aircraft, serving in dog-fighting, troop transport and bombing roles and possessing unparalleled manouverability. The Banshee has 35 cm thick neosteel armor, however this costs the Banshee in speed. The Banshee has several weapons,including short-bolt missile banks, chlorine-triflouride missiles, dubbed Hellfire-Missiles, and a pair of 30mm Gatling guns. The Banshee is able to halt and hover in place during combat. As a jack of all trades the Banshee is suited to a plethora of roles, but is not perfect in any of them. The Banshee is 3 meters long, two high and 3 wide, and is capable of transporting up to 6 armored infantrymen personnel.

Dropship
The Dropship,despite what the name implies, does more than just carry troops from place to place, but also carries equipment, vehicles and supplies. The Dropship is not particularly fast, mainly due to the 1.5 meters of neosteel armor plating but its pivoting engines allow for incredible maneuverability. The dropship is 4 meters long and wide, and 3 meters thick. The dropship can carry up to 16 personnel, two Crucio tanks, 6 Goliaths or 4 LTTP's.

The Raven
The Raven is an autonomous UAV, and is quipped with frequency jamming technologies, allowing it to disrupt radar transmissions and avoid radar detection. It is also capable of using this technology proactively, such as using it to actually access radio frequencies or even hack into other computers, even aircraft targeting systems, and have in the past caused enemy squadrons to destroy each other in this manner. Due to these skills and abilities they are the epitome of spy planes, and upon destruction or upon any attempt to access them with improper codes they emit an EMP pulse, destroying their data and programming and any electronics in a 30 meter radius. The lack of a pilot means that the Raven has extra space for extra energy storage, allowing for the Raven to be equipped with twin blaster cannons, making the Raven useful against even heavy targets, including structures. The Raven is highly maneuverable and extremely fast, as well as being able to perform maneuvers manned vehicles cannot. Due to the cost however, Raven's make up only a small portion of the Ismite Airforce. The Raven is 2 meters long, 3 high and 2 wide.
