Jimbo was one of the leaders of the journey to this land, and he became leader because of his outstanding qualities. To add to his list of accomplishments, he named this nation as well. When asked why Goomble was chosen, he had this to say: "Honestly, I said it as a joke, and started laughing afterwards. One issue was that people were cheering, not laughing. Because of that, we're now stuck with this Seussian-ass name. If I could go back and stop myself from naming it Goomble, I would. Y'know, I'm starting to think I might have created a cult of personality on accident, which led to that name. Hey, reporter lady, do you think I have a cult of personality?" she replies, "No, you're fine, so don't worry my glorious leader who can do no wrong". "Alright, thank y- wait. Oh god dammit!"
