Donphitt (/‚dɒn'ɸɪt/; Deacarsic: Dún inna Fit, meaning “fort of the pit”) is the capital city of Deacarsia, as well as the county seat of County Owenvra. A population of 614,317 residents live within the city limits, making it the most populous city in Deacarsia; the Donphitt metropolitan area is the anchor of Deacarsia.

Traditionally believed to have been founded on 10 June A.D. 387 by Uilliam the Old of Seanaught, father of the legendary king Pátraic the Great, Donphitt is located in the western part of the kingdom, at the confluence of the Owenvra, Bracatim, and Woora rivers. Donphitt is known both as “Cathir inna Crúaidic” for the heavy reliance of its economy on the steel industry. The city features over two hundred churches, twenty-nine skyscrapers, twelve inclined railways, prolific medieval architecture, and Áitt Royal Park at the confluence of the rivers.

Aside from steel, Donphitt is a leader in manufacturing of aluminum, coal, glass, shipbuilding, petroleum, foods, sports, transportation, computing, automobiles, and electronics. The area is home to sixty-eight colleges and universities, as well as the headquarters of multiple corporations, guilds, and worker co-operatives.
